SWEATY SATURDAY ✨ 
Started off the day with a full body training session at my favorite gym @trainingmate then got some QT in on my #yoga mat @playlistyoga 🎶

Can I just say this: OMG my hard work is starting to pay off!!!! BABY ABS are starting to make their appearance!! So fun to start seeing results!

Honestly, my #fitnessgoals + #yogagoals are less about the way I look and more about the way I feel + my strength level, but I’d be lying if I said that seeing physical results didn’t motivate me to keep going 💪🏼 The last month or so I have been really focused on my nutrition, staying committed to my training routine, getting on my yoga mat as often as possible, and getting enough SLEEP!

The longer I am on my #fitnessjourney and experiment with different techniques, the more I realize that a strong + healthy body isn’t just made in the gym, there are so many aspects!

Sometimes we all need a little extra "go-go" in the morning. Especially on a Monday!

I haven’t worked out for almost two months. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Yup, you read that right. Some that will read this may judge. While some may understand. 🤷‍♀️⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Choosing to take an extended break from the gym was more of an accident, although has evolved into a purpose. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
For years, I have worked out 5-7 days a week, 2-3 hours in the gym everyday (my husband too). My life was built around the gym. No exaggeration there.  My time in the gym came before anything else. An invite to dinner. I can’t because I have to workout. Want to hangout. I can’t because I have to workout. I would never skip a workout. Never cheat myself with less reps. Never let something get in the way of my workout.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Those that know me, know I’m an all in type person. For me, all in also means I struggle finding balance. I have a hard time juggling working out and having a social life. For some of you, balance comes with ease. Unfortunately it doesn’t for me.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
My relationships have been on a path of self-destruction. My home projects have been on hold. My life has been nonexistent. The only thing I could focus on was the gym. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
No dinner dates. No nights out. No girls night. No hanging out with friends. No weekend getaways. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
And so I stopped working out. At first, I wanted a few days off. A few days off turned into a goal (as well as allowing a year long injury to finally heal). A goal of finding balance within myself. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
And now I’m ready. I’m ready to start fresh. I’m ready to find balance. Gym time. Friend time. Here we come. Because balance is the key to everything. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

I stopped 🛑

I stopped wondering if I was good enough.
I stopped waiting for permission.
I stopped waiting for the perfect time.
I stopped sabotaging myself with my limiting beliefs.

.
Don’t get this confused for being fearless or having it all together! I do everything with a beat red face and racing heart. I move forward with faith because I know fear will leave me with nothing. As far as having it together, I constantly feel like someone is handing me random pieces to a very large puzzle. None of it makes sense until I find the connecting pieces that bring it all together and even then I still don’t have the full picture only fractions of a much bigger one. Trusting the process has more to do with trusting yourself than it does anything else and that’s why I stopped stopping and started moving 🙏🏽

A good leg and upper body combo for the smith machine. There will be some who cant do those pull ups so shoulder presses will do the job. On the legs, its 10 half squats followed by 10 full squats. I don't usually use the Smith machine but the gym was packed this morning. .

🗣 I want my body back! 🥴😂. Whewww that felt great to say! Lol Look little girl I really love you but you have less than 2 months to vacate the premises!!! I’ve been enjoying this process and stopped working out around month 4 doctors orders. Once I was cleared by that time I couldn’t keep it together and felt a lot of discomfort. I really wanted a fit pregnancy but it hasn’t really been that way. My health and the babies health is A-1. I just wished I maintained working out and eating right consistently. I’m going to have my work cut out for me and I’m planning to breastfeed. I won’t be too hard on myself and I totally miss the gym!!! I was getting ready to hit another milestone prior to pregnancy but it will have to wait. I’m going to give myself at least 1.5 years to fully recover. I’m practicing being kind to myself through this beautiful process!!! .
