Empezamos la semana con toda la energía, porque así se haya alargado la cuarentena 
tenemos que seguir positivos. Verle el lado positivo a todo esto. 
Tendremos más tiempo en familia, más tiempo para dedicarle a cosas que normalmente no hacemos, leer, entrenar, estudiar, cocinar, pensar en algún proyecto nuevo. No se, hay tantas cosas. 
Así que animo y aprovechémoslo al maximo!! Porque yo si les tengo mucha energía, motivación y sobretodo unas rutinas buenísimas para que sigamos entrenando desde casa 😁💪🏼🔥

Personalmente lavoro online da un paio di anni a questa parte e, a livello lavorativo, la situazione è più o meno identica.
Sapete cosa è cambiato tanto? Ciò che ricevo e non parlo del ritorno economico.

Sentire che sto migliorando la giornata a qualcuno con un “semplice” allenamento, con una newsletter, con una ricetta, con un paio di parole di conforto..questo sì, mi fa sentire speciale e apprezzata.

Credetemi, per tutto ciò che posto ci vuole tanto :
• ricerca e ideazione dei contenuti (perché poveretto chi ricorre alle imitazioni resterà sempre secondo!)
• registrazioni e fotografia
• editing
• scrittura
• attenzione a non ferire nessuno, a non esser fraintesa, ...

Ci vuole tanto. E ci vuole coraggio soprattutto: parlare dagli spalti è facile, giocare una partita è tutt’altra storia.

Fare tutto ciò mi riempie giornata e cuore. Mi sono buttata a capofitto nel lavoro che amo e ne sono felice. Passo la mia giornata tra pc, studio/home gym, ricette, beauty e tv.

Mi manca infinitamente vedere gente che non sia coperta fino agli occhi, fare la spesa con calma lasciandomi tentare dagli acquisti a volte inutili..e rifarla dimenticandomi sempre qualcosa.

Mi manca il bacio sulla fronte di mio padre e gli abbracci stretti di mia madre. Mi manca rincorrere i colombi con kiki.

Mi manca vestirmi “bene”, cenare fuori, andare al cinema, fare serata e rientrare alle 6 del mattino con quei matti che chiamo amici.
⠀
Ma so che prima o poi torneremo..e ora non posso che attendere e cercare di rendere questo momento un briciolo più leggero, per me facendo ciò che amo e per te che mi leggi, mi segui, mi supporti, offrendoti ciò che posso.

🌟Raised leg bicycles, lay flat on your back with a pole behind your head, grab the pole with both hands to aid in raising your legs and back off the ground, you should try to point your feet towards the sky with only your upper back touching the floor, move your legs as if riding a bicycle, concentrate on that ab squeeze. 🌟Sock stretch outs, on a hard floor with socks on your hands, get down on all fours and using only your core stretch out your hands in front until your nearly horizontal to the ground then pull yourself back to the all fours position (iv done this in a previous post)
🌟Feet Hand pass offs, lay flat on your back arms out straight behind your head holding your ball and legs out straight, raise your legs and arms at the same time keeping them both straight to meet at a point where you exchange the ball from your hands to your feet, lower arms and legs back to original position but do not let your legs touch the ground, keep exchanging ball between hands and feet.

Luckily, found one of the last pieces of pull up bars in walmart and a sandbag in stock online. 
Got 100lbs of sand from home depot today 😛

Workout today: 
1. 20 mins HIIT (10kg/22 lbs weights) -> 6 x Pushups + Overhead presses -> 6 x Tricep kickbacks/tricep dips -> 6 x Weighted squats -> 6 x spiderman pushups -> 6 x mountain climbers (each side) -> 6 x side kickthroughs (each side)

Weights (27kgs/60 lbs): 2. 5 x sandbag deadlifts
3. 3 x sandbag power lifts 
4. 3 x sandbag ground chest press
5. 3 x sandbag bicep curls
6. 5 x sandbag back row
7. 3 x 10 Pushups

انا بجاد سعيد، ٢٠٠٧ كانت البدايه للتحول العقلي لما بدأت ادور علي نفسي كنت ساعتها ١٦ سنه و وزني ٥٥ كيلو و طولي ١٧٠.
سمعت عن الجيم و الحديد و نعمل فورمه بس انا منت وفيع اوي اوي.. ايه ده ازاي بس ادخل المكان ده!! كلهم عضلات و تشريخ و انا مفسي كده و معضم و محدش كان بيساعدني و كان نفسي اقدر اغير ده في الناس!! فقولت لا يعم بلاها فضلت كده لمده سنه لحد ما جت ٢٠٠٨ و قررت اواجه خوفي. و نزلت الجيم عند في نفسي و قلت والله ابدا. انا هبقي يعني هبقي.

رحت و سمعت كميه تريقه غير طبيعيه بس اكتشفت ان الموضوع ده قواني مكسرنييش.. و خلاني اعند اكتر و اقرا اكتر و اكتر و اتعلم و كل كلمه كانت شراره بتقوي النار اللي جوايا امني اوصل لهدفي.

صدقوني الموضوع مش صعب لكن محتاج اراده، فضلت في الجيم ٥ سنين و فيهم لعبت ملاكمه و سباحه و جري و رياضات تانيه ملقيتش نفسي غير في "كروس فيت" و من هنا دي كانت بدايه تانيه لمرحله جديده في حياتي كان وزني ساعتها ٨٢ كيلو.
بدأت اتجه الي التمرين الفردي اخد واحد صاحبي امرنه و انزل معاه و نستفيد من خبرات بعض و واحده وادخه بقي يتطلب مني اني امرن ناس معرفهاش و كنت مبسوط اوي اوي و بدأت فعلا اعمل كده. قررت اني اتوسع اكتر و اول لناس اكتر. عملت فيديوهات و صفحه علي "فيس بوك" و لقيت اقبال هايل و بجد هنا حسيت اني فعلا اقدر اغير الناس للأحسن بأبسط الطرق و اقدر اساعد اللي ملقيوش حد يساعدهم. زي ما انا كنت زمان. -لو حاسس ان في حاجه الوصول ليها مستحيل؟ متدورش علي البديل. واجه خوفك و لو مقاديفك اتكسرت استعمل ايدك و رجلك. عافر و هتوصل. ان الله مع الصابرين.

صدقوني الموضوع مش صعب لكن محتاج اراده، فضلت في الجيم ٥ سنين و فيهم لعبت ملاكمه و سباحه و جري و رياضات تانيه ملقيتش نفسي غير في "كروس فيت" و من هنا دي كانت بدايه تانيه لمرحله جديده في حياتي كان وزني ساعتها ٨٢ كيلو.
بدأت اتجه الي التمرين الفردي اخد واحد صاحبي امرنه و انزل معاه و نستفيد من خبرات بعض و واحده وادخه بقي يتطلب مني اني امرن ناس معرفهاش و كنت مبسوط اوي اوي و بدأت فعلا اعمل كده. قررت اني اتوسع اكتر و اول لناس اكتر. عملت فيديوهات و صفحه علي "فيس بوك" و لقيت اقبال هايل و بجد هنا حسيت اني فعلا اقدر اغير الناس للأحسن بأبسط الطرق و اقدر اساعد اللي ملقيوش حد يساعدهم. زي ما انا كنت زمان. -لو حاسس ان في حاجه الوصول ليها مستحيل؟ متدورش علي البديل. واجه خوفك و لو مقاديفك اتكسرت استعمل ايدك و رجلك. عافر و هتوصل. ان الله مع الصابرين.

Pierogis from scratch! 
This was our first try at homemade pierogis and they turned out great!
Dough:
4 cups of flour
4 eggs
2tsp salt
2/3c of water

Stuffing:
Pennsylvania golden potatoes boiled and mashed, unpeeled
Minced garlic
Sour cream
Butter
Beef stock

We cooked some of the finished pierogis in the air fryer and sautéed the others.

 I work very hard to get muscle and weight that I want.

It's taking ALLLOT, like ALL I have in me, to get there, but I won't give up.

Life is challenging especially during this time. No matter at what cost, we all have to adjust and adapt. Since gyms are closed down, I had to get creative with home workouts to be able to maintain my mental health and physical goals. For leg day I warmed up with resistance band squats (3 sets of 12) and resistance band cross behind lunges (3 sets of 12). After activation of the legs/glutes we moved on to a compound stif leg deadlift into a squat (4 sets of 12), Bulgarian split squats (4 sets of 12), and ended with resistance band donkey kicks (4 sets of 12). By staying positive and motivated we can get through anything. I hope everyone stays safe and heathy❤️

Going on a grocery run like... 😅

Nothing fancy. Just Leg Day.

I did an entire leg workout today with basically two exercises.

Leg Extensions and Leg Curls.

Normally, I would do these exercises as finishing sets.

To really force and pump blood into my already pumped legs.

But, I am keeping it simple and using these as my primary leg workout, and a few bodyweight moves for additional work.

This is where high volume comes into play.

And by high volume I mean, throwing away your ideas of a specific number of reps to be done, and doing as many sets and as many reps as possible.

Total burnout.

I do this because I want to push myself, and I have very limited options in terms of exercises.

So, I change the amount of weight, pyramid up and down, and each set do as many as possible!

That’s how you keep your workouts simple, effective, and even challenging in a time of quarantine.

This new way of working out, has really shown me how to make the most out of limited options.

I think we get so accustomed to having multiple options in life that when they disappear we tend to not like the choices available.

I’m super appreciative of this challenging time, and even more excited to get back to my gym!

I am always trying to find new ways to #challenge myself. The #mm100 #21dayfix combo has been perfect for me. Now I am trying something new — portion control! This is my greatest weakness, but I am determined to try it and stick with it. My eyes were opened wide when I watched the #fixatecookingshow it is amazing how much food we are actually eating!

I learned that in the 1950s and earlier, the average plate sizes were around 7.5 inches! These days, a 7.5-inch plate is considered a salad plate in U.S. standards.

Tonight’s dinner (leftovers) is on a 7-inch plate I found in my cupboard. I filled 1 cup and put it on the plate. When you use smaller plates, it gives the illusion of more food. If you were to put that same 1 cup of food on a larger plate, it would look like barely any food is on the plate, which would make you more inclined to add more food to it. 
I thought I would still feel hungry after eating only 1 cup (especially that this was my first meal I’ve eaten today), but I actually felt perfectly sated. Not to the point I was too full to move.

I think having food on this small plate has also messed with my own body’s psychology of feeling satisfied. The illusion of a lot of food on the small plate as seemed to tell my body that I managed to finish this ‘large’ meal, so it’s time to feel full. 
I have been trying to research to see how many ounces/cups of food is an ideal portion. At least, for this chili/stew I made, 1 cup seems just right. I also had a glass of kombucha with this, so I think that also helped with the fullness feeling.

I definitely do NOT want to starve myself, but I do want to exercise healthy #portioncontrol

I am also doing a bit of #intermittentfasting as this was the only meal I’ve had all day. I did not feel hungry before, and I wasn’t going to force myself to eat.

I saw some yummy #21dayfixmeals that I want to try, so I got some portion control containers and will give them a try!

Here are a couple basic tennis ball drills that are great for basketball 🏀Specifically for hand-eye coordination. Basketball is a game of proactive & reactive dynamic movements& being that there are 9 other players on the floor with you, the ability to be able to read and react to stimuli is very important. Having good hand eye coordination will help you with being proactive and especially reactive (counter moves). Basketball players must be able to think the game mentally not just play the game physically.
