・スムージー

久しぶりにスムージー生活復活させました。ジョギング後に一気飲みするのが楽しみです😂ちなみに中身は絹豆腐、バナナ、きなこ、豆乳です。


▫️昼ごはん
・鮭、ブロッコリー、しめじの味噌マヨ焼き
・みかん
・母親お手製パウンドケーキ×2

少し食べすぎたかな。反省です。でも夜ご飯までしっかり保ちました。


▫️夜ごはん
・ミネストローネ風ソーメン
・鶏の酢焼き
・かぼちゃ

まさかのまさか、白米まであったのですさすがに食べれませんでした。忍びないですが二口くらい食べて残しました…。


▫️運動
・5kmジョギング
・筋トレ35分

For the lateral raise, I would argue yes. Obviously on other movements dumbbells will have their place. But when looking at this exercise specifically the dumbbell falls short!

Why are dumbbells not optimal for lateral raises?❌

A dumbbell creates a less favourable resistance profile for the delts due to the weight of the dumbbell being heaviest at the top of the exercise. This is because the length of the moment arm is greatest here, meaning we feel the weight the most when your muscle is at its weakest in its shortened position. If we are being picky, this is not how we want the profiles to look!❌

So why are cables better?✅

When working with cables (with the optional cuffs) the load is heaviest through the mid-range of exercise. Due to the line of force being open to manipulation on a cable stack. With dumbbells, the line of force is dictated by gravity and is not adjustable.

The cables resistance profile also fits more effectively with the strength profile of the muscle. As there is a slight drop off in resistance in the shortened range due to the moment arm getting smaller.

E le vedevo felici e belle
E mi chiedevo come facessero? Come avessero superato un ostacolo così grande? Il peso? Omg omg! Il cibo! Non si vedevano giganti? Non si sentivano una merda a guardarsi intorno? Non si sentivano uno schifo totale a mangiare?
Tutte dicevano che il cambiamento effettivo era stato mentale, e non fisico. Una volta che capisci che il problema è nella tua mente e non nel tuo corpo, tutto si risolve. "Eh facile a dirlo" dicevo io, che ero perennemente combattuta tra il voler stare meglio e il voler stare sempre peggio.
Se guarisco, non avrò mai quelle gambe!
Se guarisco, nessuno si chiederà se sto male!
Se guarisco, avrò la cellulite!
Se guarisco, non potrò toccare più le mie ossa!
Ma ora ditemi, ora, che avete quelle gambe, che non avete la cellulite e avete tutte le ossa in vista, state bene? Siete felici? Direi di no. Allora perché l'obiettivo è "avere un corpo x" e non "essere felici"? E se mi rispondete "se avessi quel corpo, sarei felice" ahimé sbagliate alla grande. Perché il problema non è il corpo
Non lo è mai stato
Se vi mettete nella giusta ottica, essere felici è facile. "Basta" volersi bene.
Ma non avrò quelle gambe..! E allora? Ti servono quelle gambe, se non hai la forza di camminare? Con quelle che avrai, potrai andare ad inseguire i tuoi sogni. La mente sarà occupata da tutto, sempre in movimento, ma non strapiena di pensieri sul cibo.
Quando inizierete a volervi bene, il corpo passerà in secondo piano.
Perché la felicità non dipende dal tuo corpo, dipende da te

同時に、めちゃくちゃ効率悪くない?
みたいな事も多々。
熱意が大事とも思いますが🎅
様々な理論があるので自分に合ったものを信じてやればいいけど、同じ事の繰り返しはダメね。
変化と進化がないと身体も飽きちゃいますよ👼
自らの身体で仮説と検証を繰り返し出来上がったBODYで定説にしちゃってください🎅

I have always believed that it’s your work that takes you anywhere you want to be. If you are trying to aim for a better life & health then you have to work hard for it because there are no shortcuts. When I started my fitness journey, I was just like any other average lazy guy who was fond of eating, drinking, sitting and watching movies. I never followed an active lifestyle. Eventually when I started putting in the work for my health, I discovered that I love the process and once you see the results, it just makes you feel incredible. This is for all the haters that think crossfitters don’t work on anything strict 🤣 — we certainly do!⁣

Majority of our warm ups (aka the other 30-50 minutes of class) can be spent on a lot of different beneficial movements helping to prep our body. Sometimes it’s something like this day:⁣
— before the workout that had kipping pull ups, we started with a 6 minute EMOM of this little complex:⁣
Strict pull up + kipping chest to bar + kipping pull up 🔥⁣
I reminded my classes to keep that strict rep nice and controlled even on the way down, and to practice body control + generating a kip from a dead hang.⁣

There’s a time and place for each style of movement. They both teach us different things & are used when appropriate. And.. With good gymnastics skill work, you learn both. Pull ups are not easy! Don’t be discouraged if you can’t do one yet. It takes years of work sometimes. Practice practice practice. I’ve been at this for 6+ years and I’m still trying to be better every single day.⁣

⭕🍗I have never realized how inexpensive and poorly equipped gyms can hold your body and mind from growing in your fitness training until now.  And I say this with a humble heart to those who couldn't afford membership in a good and very well equipped gym.  I took the initiative to get membership at a different type of gym where I can challenge my fitness level, and to my great findings,  I needed to proportion my body better. This new gym have everything and every machine needed for my growth. This got me very excited to get prepared for a change and I bet you that you will be a witness to my new future journey.  So I did LEGS 🍗today and  these were my workout for today👇👇👇👇

We have door number ONE and door number TWO. Right now. Door number ONE is the comfortable way, we stay where we are. Or worse, we get deeper into whatever debt we will have to dig deeper out of.⁣

Or, we have door number TWO that is uncomfortable, requires sacrifice, is not necessarily easy, we won't feel like it, we won't be motivated. In fact, we feel inadequate for the task and are not sure we can do it.⁣

But we WANT what is behind door number two. So, we must do the things that open that door.⁣

I have been tempted by so much food lately.  It's so hard to stick to the plan! I didn't have a bite. It was hard. Very hard. But I have my vision of what is behind door number two. THAT is why I made the choice.⁣

I know, you can think it's worse for you, or that there is a secret shortcut, some special edge I might have, but there isn't. It's just grit. Pure grit sometimes. You can make that door open too!⁣

I never thought I would be here 💓

I never thought I would be able to lose 30lbs after my 3rd miscarriage. Or be as healthy as I was. I never thought I could ever learn about food or how to eat healthy! 🙌

I never thought I would actually like working out with other people, like really enjoy it- it was one of the main reasons I didn’t join my coach at first! It’s crazy how we don’t know if something will work or if we will enjoy it unless we TRY it! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I never thought I would coach, didn’t think it was for me at all😂 look at me now coaching my own team and finally being able to pay for my pregnancy out of pocket (no insurance)!!😍😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I never thought I would be able to create a baby! It was something I struggled with hardcore after my miscarriages, being pregnant is scary AF, but I never thought I even make it here to having a beautiful baby boy growing inside me! I pray everyday God is keeping him safe and that I will be able to hold him in my arms so I can again say... I never thought I would be here 💙

It’s crazy how we don’t know if something will work or if we will enjoy it unless we TRY it! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I never thought I would coach, didn’t think it was for me at all😂 look at me now coaching my own team and finally being able to pay for my pregnancy out of pocket (no insurance)!!😍😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I never thought I would be able to create a baby! It was something I struggled with hardcore after my miscarriages, being pregnant is scary AF, but I never thought I even make it here to having a beautiful baby boy growing inside me! I pray everyday God is keeping him safe and that I will be able to hold him in my arms so I can again say... I never thought I would be here 💙
