Even though I’m mostly good, I’m not that well today and rather thoughtful. But that’s okay, there are such days. I would even say I sometimes need those days to deal with myself and to feel good again the following days. When you’re not feeling well, do something nice for yourself. Be your best friend. Because people come and go but there is always this one person, who is always there for you and that’s you! Have a nice day ❤️

Ich würde sogar sagen ich brauche manchmal diese Tage um mich mit mir selbst zu befassen und mich die darauffolgenden Tage wieder gut zu fühlen. Wenn es dir auch mal nicht gut geht, tu dir selbst was gutes. Sei selber dein bester Freund. Denn egal wer kommt und wer geht, du hast jemand der immer für dich da sein wird und das bist du! #itsalifestyle •• Working out, staying active, skiing, track and field, basketball, volleyball, sports, hiking, walking, staying fit, and eating healthy were all things our parents were very intentional in having be a part of our lifestyle 💪🏼 I’ve been working out since I was 12 or so, before that I ran track and field; after that, did some 2mi & 5k runs, and my siblings even did triathlons - all that to say exercise is a LIFESTYLE!!! 🌿 And it’s a CHOICE! 💭 It’s also a journey, not a destination! With each season of life comes new goals to reach and maintain! 🙌🏼 So make it your lifestyle!!! Make it a part of you! It’s not what you do it’s who you ARE!! 50 POUNDS DOWN! 
It feels so good hitting your personal goals. Now approaching five months postpartum, I set a goal to drop 50lbs. 🎉 And I made it!

Y’all, that is the same amount as my toddler. I lost a small human (pictured here for reference). It’s crazy to think, I struggle even carrying my 50lb boy... yet, I lugged around that amount of weight on my body.

I have learned so much in this process, the biggest being that nutrition and what you put into your body, trumps working out as far as weight loss is concerned. I have learned to look at food as fuel to nourish your body, not as something to fulfill a pleasure. And consistency is key. The past 45days, I have been fully devoted to a new meal plan. And I have stuck to it 1000%. Even at parties, while traveling, going to sporting events, going out with the girls, etc. I have stuck to it and trusted the process. Also, drinking a gallon of water a day is huge! Water is the catalyst of weight loss. I honestly stoped drinking alcohol all together, because I’m a lightweight after pregnancy. I used to love wine. But now, it gives me THE worst headache. And honestly, it’s empty calories. And REAL talk, I ain’t got time to be hung over with 2 kids. NO. THANK. YOU.

I have also realized a lot about my fitness. I listened to a podcast by @mindpumpmedia that spoke volumes to me. @mindpumpadam talked about listening to your body and being cautious about what signals your sending it. On high stress days, that’s not the day you should go crush it in the gym... those are the days you go for a walk or do yoga, etc. I have been listening to what my body has been telling me and incorporating more yoga and mobility stretching. 🚨PSA: go listen to @mindpumpmedia podcast. It’s by far my favorite and a close second to @oprah @supersoul podcast 😊

I’m excited to set new goals, and incorporate more weightlifting to help with shape and tone. And of course still keeping up with my nutrition and drinking a gallon of water a day.

Últimamente he escuchado a muchas personas decir que quieren invertir en la bolsa de valores sin embargo no saben por donde empezar,  sin embargo el primer paso  es educarse, pues aunque parece sencillo como sumar y restar  hacer trading es una profesión  que requiere mucha paciencia pues no esperes  dominar de la noche a la mañana todo el conocimiento que sobre esto vas a encontrar, por eso a partir de mañana  les iré contando cosas básicas que deberían conocer antes de operar en real! Been battling a severe cold and felt like total shit this workout; luckily my workout partner @mylife_myway_nosayinit pushed me through. This road to the open division is going to be a hard battle. But I’m built for this shit. Olympia or Die Tryin’. I’m not giving a damn about anything but these weights.

After a #deload it's time to go #beastmode 👌🏻⁣

In each of these videos I hit a new PR. This is why deloads rock! I was especially happy about the incline press PR. I was at a plateau of 236 x11 for over a month. Today I was able to get 236 x12. 🙌🏻 FYI - the clips with two movements were performed as supersets. The only movement I didn't get a new PR on was standing calf raises. 🙄⁣

Day 27 of cardio grind.

Down 8 pounds at 227. ~7 more pounds to go until I switch from cutting to maintaining weight. Mixing in lifting here and there has helped to retain some muscle mass and strength. The end is near! Once I get back down to ~220 the plan is to move to a schedule with 2 days of lifting, 2 of heavy cardio, and 2 of HIIT. Looking forward to trying to hit my all time bench and overhead press goals (my biggest struggle lifts)😤

*I was born with the cord wrapped around my neck chocking me  If the doctor had been 3 seconds later in cutting it, I’d be dead

*I was born 2 months early at 4lbs 4oz, with many medical complications
*
*I spent my first 28 days in the ICU always an inch from death
*
*I was left with a traumatic brain injury and a chronic condition similar to cerebral palsy due to oxygen deprivation at birth
*
*I had 18 medical procedures before my 18th birthday, countless hours of physical therapy, had to learn to walk again 4 times, and spent in total a year of my life in a hospital bed recovering
*
*And faced 100 other battles so far
*
*My life looks like it was limited from the beginning, my prospects for a rich life bleak, you’d be wrong. I believe in, and live, my Life Above Limits
*
*I hold 2 degrees and 3 professional licenses, including my personal training certification
* *I live on my own and am a full time personal trainer
*
*I’ve changed careers three times. Been on the edge of life collapse and come back
*
*and 100  other accomplishments so far
*
*Went from from a virtual non-athlete, and 11 months later, did my first men’s physique competition naturally against fully able bodied athletes without any accommodation to my CP and took home 2nd place. I plan to become nationally qualified in my sport
