Day 67/154 (May 27). Got up and went to the gym at 5 am - an hour on the treadmill on the highest incline & fast pace. Leg day (leg press & weight machines) & then my normal “Pilates” - which was 3 types of squats & 90 total, 100 crunches, 30 leg lifts & then I did some jumping jacks. I was def SWEATY af when I left the gym this morning. I did a walk on my morning break, lunch break & afternoon break. Eating was pretty good today - I did eat a chicken strip. Yolo 🤷🏽‍♀️ October 2018 vs May 27, 2020.

So much has changed in my life and I’m so grateful for it everyday. I’m grateful for my strength. I’m grateful for my determination. I’m grateful that I allowed myself to learn from mistakes instead of just giving up because of them. I’m just so damn grateful to that girl sitting in that chair for digging down deep and keeping her head up during this journey. 🚨recipe to save🚨 This green breakfast grain bowl has a lot going for it! - A delicious way to add more veggies in the morning.
- Perfect for breakfast or lunch.
- Loaded with fiber, protein, and healthy fats to keep you full all morning-long.
- Easy to adjust ingredients based on what you have on hand.

Leafy greens are so important as they’re low in calories yet an excellent source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals including vitamins A, C, and K. Plus they’re also rich in antioxidants.

Instructions: 
Step 1: Cook grain according to package directions. For a quick breakfast, I like using Trader Joe’s 10 minute farro. Once cooked, set aside (you can also cook your grain the night before and just reheat in the morning). Step 2: Heat a small skillet over medium-low heat and add oil. Once oil is hot, add garlic. Cook for 30 seconds, then add chopped kale and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, or until kale is softened and a little crispy around the edges. Transfer cooked kale to a plate or bowl.

Step 3: In the same skillet, cook eggs per personal preference. I like mine over-easy, but over-medium, poached, or soft-boiled will work well too. 
While eggs are cooking, whisk together yogurt sauce ingredients, tasting and adjusting as needed.

Step 4: Evenly distribute cooked grains, kale, and eggs between four bowls. Serve with your favorite yogurt sauce or sliced avocado.

16 g protein; 188 mg cholesterol; 16 g fat; 3 g saturated fat; 27 g carbohydrate; 6 g fiber; 3 g sugar; 119 mg sodium

Saturday full recipe. Keto Fat Head Tricolore Pizza

Ingredients (makes 4 servings)
Fat head pizza base:
1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella (170 g/ 6 oz)
2 tbsp cream cheese (30 g/ 1.1 oz)
1 large egg
1/2 tsp sea salt
3/4 cup + 1 tbsp almond flour (80 g/ 2.8 oz)
Pizza topping:
2 small chicken breasts (300 g/ 10.6 oz)
1/4 tsp sea salt
pinch of black pepper
1 tsp ghee, duck fat or olive oil
1/4 cup sugar-free marinara sauce (60 ml/ 2 fl oz) - You can make
your own marinara sauce in just 5 minutes!
2 balls of mozzarella, sliced (250 g/ 8.8 oz)
2 tbsp pesto (30 g/ 1.1 oz) - you can make your own pesto!
5 pieces sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (15 g/ 0.5 oz)
1/2 cup fresh rocket (5 g/ 0.2 oz)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200 °C/ 400 °F (fan assisted), or 220 °C/
425 °F (conventional). Place the grated mozzarella cheese into a
bowl and add the cream cheese. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
1.
Mix with a spatula and microwave on high for another 30 seconds
and mix. Add the egg and stir. Add salt, almond flour and mix until
well combined.
2.
Place the dough on a heatproof baking mat and use your hands to
flatten until about 1/2 - 1 cm (1/4 - 1/2 inch) thick. Alternatively, you
can use a piece of parchment paper on top and roll the dough out.
If the dough is sticky, use a bit of olive oil for greasing to dampen
your hands when flattening the dough

Settimana tosta a livello psico fisico. Settimana di pre ciclo (che da quando ho partorito è diventato davvero duro, con vertigini frequenti, perdita di sangue dal naso, pressione sottoterra e voglia di fare nulla!). Ma comunque sono riuscita a non mollare almeno con l’allenamento, e con domani mi porto a casa l’ultimo Wo della settimana e ho cercato di fare più passeggiate e passi possibili! Per il resto alimentazione ni, birra si, addome sparito e gambe super gonfie con ritenzione bella evidente! Speriamo arrivi presto il ciclo! Buon week a tutti! 👊🏻

Food for the day! #breakfast was a bacon, egg and cheese toasted sandwich on the low carb macro bread. Didn’t manage to have a proper lunch because I was so busy so snacks were a babybel cheese, salami and pesto almonds. #dinner is steak with mushroom sauce and broccolini 😍😍 yummiest dinner i’ve had in a while!! (More sauce was added after tasting it coz it was that good 😂) Found this mushroom sauce at Coles. It’s so delicious and it has great macros ✅ and I’ll be having some Denada ice cream later on 🤤🤤 #ketobreakfast #ketosnacks #ketodinner

It's long been common knowledge that putting your hands on your head increases your airways and helps recovery BUT recent studies show otherwise.⁣
⁣
A study group consisted of 24 female Division II soccer players between the ages of 18–22 yr old who were in their winter training season when they began participation in the study, and all had familiarization with HIIT protocol training.⁣
⁣
𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗙#ğ—–ğ—žğ—œğ—¡ğ—š 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗?!⁣
⁣
The study found that the hand on knees (HK) posture resulted in superior (faster) heart rate recovery (22 bpm improvement) and greater tidal volume (the amount of air inhaled into the lungs with each breath) compared to the hands on head (HH) posture.⁣
⁣
“Hands on knees posture causes thoracic flexion and internal rotation of the rib cage, which has been reported to optimize the diaphragmatic zone of apposition (ZOA) . Optimizing the ZOA allows the diaphragm to operate with maximal efficiency. This could explain the greater cardiorespiratory response seen in the hands on knees condition.”⁣
