Are you an emotional eater? Find it hard to differentiate between actually being hungry or just loving the taste of food so much? 
When you are trying to stick to a plan, calorie intake, or stick to losing weight in general you need to switch your way of thinking slightly.
You need to view food as your source of fuel.... take the emotion out of it. Forget about how good it taste and start training your brain to think of it like ok so I need to eat this lunch whatever it is so then I have fuel to keep me going for the day or on the lines of that! 
Ask yourself some questions before you start smashing all the snacks...
*Have I drank enough water? Maybe I’m just thirsty? *Have I not got enough sleep in? Lack of sleep can have you some crazy carb cravings
*Have I trained more than usual?
*Am I going through tremendous stress in my life right now?
There are so many factors that can contribute to your eating patterns!
When you are considering jumping into a calorie deficit for fat loss..... my advice to you would be do not go cold turkey on your favourite foods....my number one question in my client consults is “what do you need everyday for you not to fail?” And it goes in the plan! Factor your favourite meals and snacks in because you need to view your everyday eating as your new lifestyle it needs to be maintainable. 
Most of the times I’m dying of hunger is simply because I am dehydrated! I’ve made conscious effort to make sure I’m getting the water in take in. It’s stupid little things like this at times In which you can fix and stop yourself going nuts haha!

1️⃣Cable bar hi-lo chops - 
A great rotational exercise that could be used as a core exercise, functional exercise or for athletic performance.

2️⃣Hanging band resisted Psoas march- great for strengthening lower abdominals and hip flexors.

If you're experiencing lower back pain whilst doing the Leg Press Exercise ... here is the most likely reason why ☝🏼👇🏼

During the negative phase of the movement (lowering the weight), if your pelvis "rolls" off the seat it means you are then unable to maintain a neutral lumbar spine (straight lower back) this results in pressure on your lumbar vertebrae (lower section of the spine) resulting in fatigue and pain in that area 🔥🔥🔥
•
This can be resolved by simply shortening the movement to just before your pelvis starts to roll whilst ensuring you "Push" your backside into the seat whilst bracing your core.
•
You can also place a resistance band under your  sacrum and ask your training partner to pull the band away from you to ensure you are pushing into the seat. If your pelvis rolls the band will slip indicating you have lost form.
•
This same principle can also apply to squats, if you are experiencing back pain try shortening the movement by placing an object like a bench underneath your backside, even better if you can adjust it to your specific movement range.

Noah and I doing some work before I had to get on a conference call with China..so all I had time for was 3x5 camber bar push press at 265 and 24in (yes I know its high as hell) box squats at 605 for 3 sets of 5 with the camber bar and as u can see Noah working on the 🍑 as well!

Noah and I doing some work before I had to get on a conference call with China..so all I had time for was 3x5 camber bar push press at 265 and 24in (yes I know its high as hell) box squats at 605 for 3 sets of 5 with the camber bar and as u can see Noah working on the 🍑 as well!

2nd Time Lucky fresh out of surgery to hopefully 100% remove the Stage 1 melanoma from my chest 🙏🏼 They took a very large section of skin off to better increase my chance of being cancer free this time and I hope this is the bloody end of it. 2-3 weeks of No Training now to let it heal and then have the stitches removed so I can get my life back on track 😊

Today was a very busy day! Working on a mural for a restaurant (sooo fun) and between it all I barley focused on eating! I got to meal prep later on in the day, so good news for future me!
