I like hangin with you 🦥

the constant battle of self acceptance and not letting my mind have the thoughts of negative feelings towards my body.

. I’ve always felt pretty confident in a gym with workout clothes on. Outside of that is when the uneasiness sets in. My legs feeling huge in cut off shorts and constantly being approached asking how much I squat. I can’t exactly wear women size jackets; cause if I hug you my jacket will literally rip. I don’t feel feminine in dresses. it’s all a rollercoaster of feelings and I’ve had to really stay present and harp more of what my body is capable of doing over what it looks like in a dress. .

. I’ve learned to dress for my body type where I feel comfortable and be proud of what I’ve accomplished with these legs and these traps. We are have insecurities, but don’t let those hold you back from ANYTHING. 🙌🏽 .

Nuestro #trainer y #atleta @israelhtrainer @israelatleta nos trae una nueva entrada en la que nos habla sobre nuestro compañero de fatigas, el GPS.

Ahi va!

Nuestros gran amigo el GPS ¿Relojes? El GPS se ha convertido en una herramienta fundamental para el corredor. Yo os recomiendo configurar los menús del reloj para que en carrera podáis ver 3 datos fundamentales: tiempo total de la actividad, km totales y ritmo por km. Si puede añadir un cuarto campo que sería ritmo medio total, te ayudará a sacar una media de ritmos que te ayudará para calcular en carrera el ritmo que habías previsto llevar. 
También puedes añadir un quinto campo que a mi particularmente me gusta y no es otra cosa que "la potencia". Sólo podrás usarlo en algunos dispositivos de gama alta que ya vengan equipados con él o comprar un accesorio que se está convirtiendo en imprescindible para cualquier atleta, el potenciómetro Stryd.
Este accesorio subirá de nivel tu forma de entrenar y podrás guiar tus entrenamientos por vatios, algo que atletas de élite como Carla Castillejo ya usan.

Nuestro trainer @israelhtrainer @israelatleta os hablará de este dispositivo en próximas entradas y divididas varias publicaciones porque tiene su qué.

También he de decir que de vez en cuando añadir o visualizar el campo de pulsaciones por minuto también será de ayuda. Por encima de esto es fundamental que el reloj cuente con un pulsómetro bien de muñeca o de cinta en el pecho. La mayoría de rodajes de una preparación salvo las series, nos debemos guiar por pulsaciones y no por ritmos. No podemos pasarnos de ritmos cuando no toque hacerlo, no podemos pasarnos de pulsaciones, hay que controlar las intensidades del entrenamiento.
