BREAKFAST: 40 g oats, 150 greek yogurt, 20 g walnuts, 1 tbsp honey, 100 -200g fruit

SNACK: 200 g fruit, dark choc

LUNCH: 40 g rye bread, 1 egg, 1 apple, 100 g corn, 30 g cheese
.
DINNER: salad with arugula, 1 carrot, 40 g blue cheese, 25 g walnuts, 100 g beetroot, 1, 2  tbsp olive oil purple cabbage .

Tomorrow starts week SIX of @fitnessbysamantharae and I’s 12 week program. I feel like time is flying by and this is crunch time! I have spent my entire rest day prepping for the next week, which includes properly hydrating, catching up on some sleep, and preparing meals. I’m absolutely loving my progress😍. I still have a bit of fat I’d like to lean out but my muscle growth is incredible. I feel strong, have more energy, and I’m having fun. Now, Real talk... I’m getting a little softer than I like to walk around at on the daily😬. That said, I hate the term, its shred season or “bulking“. EVERYONE talks this and most don’t realize the PRINCIPLES don’t change one bit. ⠀⠀

What I do to add muscle, aka “bulk” (not fat) is still the same nutritional science principles I use to “shred” or “cut”. The WAY in which I apply them for myself and clients changes ever so slightly. ⠀⠀⠀

This was my 3rd pizza of the week... is pizza inherently bad ? HE// nah! Pizza is healthy if you are eating the right kinds lol. It was more the bags of candy & ice cream every night the last few weeks... 🙄😬. I’m blaming @lexiemillard For a couple very lax grocery trips. BUT HEY, such is life !!! I’m a week or two away from being where I like, nothin crazy, BECAUSE I know what to do, the principles it takes... and no it’s not “eat chicken & broccoli only”. Or go “low carb”. Or doing an hour of cardio a day... none of that crap. The real principles in about to show you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Recently I have started experimenting with grains a lot.I do not want any empty callery to get inside my body !

Buckwheat is indeed a superfood ,it is rich in protein,fibre ,vit b , magnesium, phosphorus. Is a very good replacement of rice I made this buckwheat khichdi for lunch today and it tasted amazing ❤️.Recipe 👇👇👇. Ingredients-
2 table spoon roasted peanuts.
1/2 cup buckwheat grouts (kuttu daliya).
1 small potato.
1.5 spoon Green chilli chopped.
1.5 grated ginger.
1 teaspoon jeera.
1/2 carrot.
1 small tomato.
1 Table spoon coriander leaves.
Rock salt according to your taste.
Red chilli powder according to your taste.
Pinch hing powder.

Directions-

Wash and soak kuttu daliya/ buckwheat grouts in water for 30 minutes.

Peel and chop potato into small pieces.

Now drain the water from the kuttu daliya and keep aside

Heat ghee in the pressure cooker and then add cumin seeds. when seeds start to crackle then add chopped potato,green chilies and ginger carrot and give it a stir.After vegetables are cooked add redchillie powder.

Now add the soaked kuttu daliya and stir for few seconds.

Add 1.5 cup water and salt and mix.

Pressure cook on medium heat for a whistles and then lower the heat and simmer for 10 -15 minutes.

Switch off the heat and then allow the cooker to cool down completely.( If its slightly raw or there is water left then cook further for some time.) Now open the cooker and gently fluff the kuttu khichdi.

Add lemon juice and chopped coriander and peanuts.

Mix it and serve with some curd and chutney of your choice.

You can also have this during fasts. Just don't use vegetables ,ginger , chillies.This is a great option if you are fasting on Mahashivratri 🙏.

Recently I have started experimenting with grains a lot.I do not want any empty callery to get inside my body !

Buckwheat is indeed a superfood ,it is rich in protein,fibre ,vit b , magnesium, phosphorus. Is a very good replacement of rice I made this buckwheat khichdi for lunch today and it tasted amazing ❤️.Recipe 👇👇👇. Ingredients-
2 table spoon roasted peanuts.
1/2 cup buckwheat grouts (kuttu daliya).

1.5 spoon Green chilli chopped.
1.5 grated ginger.
1 teaspoon jeera.
1/2 carrot.

I'm in the middle of a new eating regimen that has yielded a nearly 17lbs weight loss (mostly fat) in about 5 weeks! I eat for my goals. You eat for your goals. 
Recently I posted a devotion about worship and discussed how we worship God through everything, even our diet. Our physical form is how worship is acted out. Our inner man is where it happens. If we can worship God through our physical diet, we need to worship Him through our spiritual and mental diet first. 
What are we taking in? Do we really know what's in our intangible and non-physical food? Is our diet consistent or are we always waiting until Monday to get started? Do we rely too much on doing the exact same as some influencer or do we seek out a way that gets us the best results? Are we relying too hard on supplements are not getting enough nutrition from the basic food (Word of God) we ought to be ingesting? How do we measure the "results?" Take a minute and take a bite. Others will say that working out in the evening is better to help reduce stress levels from a hectic day…⁣

Don't get me wrong, there are definitely some pro’s and con's regarding the time of day that you workout.⁣

However…⁣

There are TWO main factors you need to take into account when deciding the best time for you to workout:⁣

1️⃣ Preference: If you are going to adhere to your exercise routine and make it a sustainable part of your life, it needs to be something you "somewhat" enjoy.
