Looking back at old pictures for motivation. This can be a good or bad thing. The trick is to not let it spiral you down a deep deep hole of insecurity and self doubt. That’s easier said than done obviously lol. Yes, I often times look back at photos of myself and wish I still looked like that. Im not at all saying I look bad now, but we all know our bodies the best. Here, I see a woman crushing it in the gym, going on runs like it’s nothing, doing 10 strict pullups, being able to do a 125lb clean, and getting in my macro and micronutrients. Now, I’m trying be that woman again! Nothing wrong with having a goal. 🤷‍♀️

A couple people have asked me to do a post dedicated to upright rows. This is a great exercise for building thickness in the back, but they need to be done correctly, here’s how:
Plant your feet flat on the ground a little wider than shoulders width apart. Bend over while keeping your back straight as if you are about to do a deadlift. Pull your elbows back to the ceiling while keeping your shoulders in place. As the movement goes on, you will get tired... do NOT start using momentum and swing the weight upwards. This is called a cheat row and will “cheat” you out of gains. Let me know if you have any questions. •

Phillips et al (2018) hadde også en review hvor det ble konkludert med at høy protein dietter ikke er skadelig for filtrerings evnen (GFR) til nyrene hos friske individer.⠀
