Here’s a rough estimate of what 400 calories look like for these 3 different types of food. We’re now gonna talk about caloric density.

When you’re dieting, the best way to overcome the struggles of being hungry all the time is to eat foods, which have high volume with low calories. Vegetables are great in the sense that you can literally stuff yourself, and you would’ve only eaten 400 calories. Whereas if you’d stuff yourself with beef or something higher in fat, you’d definitely break the 1000 calorie benchmark. All oil types are sure calorie dense, so make sure to be careful with the amount of oil you consume.

When bulking however, you want to make sure you eat caloric dense meals, which will help you reach your daily caloric goal. Peanut butter or just nuts and grains are caloric dense and packed with great health properties.

All you need is a resistance band OR some light dumbbells!👌🏽 I did 3 rounds for 45 seconds on and 15 second break in between each exercise. (Download interval app) Take 1 minute break in between rounds!

With working from home I know that we are all sitting down a lot more often than usual. All of this prolonged sitting can lead to low back pain. Tight hip flexors can lead to low back pain because as the hip flexor tightens up, the hip can no longer stretch to reach full extension, so we see a compensation where the lumbar spine is in lordosis (sway back). This is really common because when we sit all day our hip flexors remain in flexion for long periods of time at once. Here’s some stretches you can do at home after a long day working or even in between work to help prevent lower back pain from creeping in and keep the hips mobile.
