As of today, I’ve walked and or run FIVE DAYS IN A ROW🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🔥! I am so very proud of myself! Plus, I managed to do a couple of @aaptiv and my new app @obé as well! I am slowly getting into a routine and I am feeling better every day! Oh as as an extra added bonus, I did my #FirstSpeedRun from the @nikerunning app. It was a great guided run @nikelosangeles btw and I’m looking forward to my #NextSpeedRun tomorrow...look at me making a plan to run 🏃🏾‍♀️ tomorrow! Today’s video is a bit short because I was running low on power on my phone and O needed to get home before it died! In any event hope you enjoy it. //PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION// Finding a variety of workouts for my #isolationworkoutchallenge has meant switching it up and doing things I don’t normally do, because #alwayslearning.

So today we did Yoga with Adrienne from her YouTube channel, the rainbow 🌈 🧘‍♀️ session “to bring light to the dark”. I thought that was apt.

There is a live video if you want a laugh but you can see the carnage here doing this with 3 kids. 🤪

We had fun, we moved our bodies, it was far from perfect. But so what?! I spoke to my parents today who are living in a lockdown where police are stopping you in your car to check where you are going. We are not at that stage yet in Aus but when we are, I want to know I’ve got a good habit of just doing SOMETHING everyday to move my body, and if the kids join in too then awesome.

Tomorrow is @barrysaustralia live on Instagram at 8am AEST. I won’t be live but they will!! I’ll be honest I picked this because I heard @davidbeckham and @victoriabeckham like it and I bloody love those two so I wanna workout like them!! Alrighty folks! First day (well, evening) of this new regime when I've felt quite down.

So, I picked up my phone and called a couple of friends, I did a drawing and then I thought 'hmm, what else did I do this week?' So, I wrote out a list of all the lush things I've done over the last 6 days and it turns out, I'm all good.

I encourage you to do the same when you hit a low! 
They needn't be miraculous things. If you struggle with your mental health, for instance, 'trying' can go on your list...'surviving' can go on your list.

It doesn't matter. Just keep hustling, whatever that means to you, and don't let the darkness win! We are all here wit you.

Happy Saturday my friends. We went out on a neighborhood bike ride yesterday and I can tell you how good that was for our mental health. The kids were getting annoyed with each other and we just needed to see other humans. Rode a total of 6.5 miles 💪🏼picked up lunch from a local business #supportsmallbusiness and had lunch at the park. We had so many of our neighbors who waived hi to us from their window or their front lawn all with a smile. My heart needed this. #mentalhealthmatters

This is one of my rather new songs.

It is called "To my Body"

I wrote this song in Berlin this summer, when I had to think a lot of a huge issue I had as a teenager. 
back then I was never really comfortable with my body, I did a lot to look skinnier and I was so focused on my weight that I started having a real eating disorder. Luckily I got rid of that over the years, but the truth is: I still sometimes catch myself focusing too much on my weight...and sometimes I remember me feeling the way I felt when I was younger.
Just like that day in Berlin. 
But today I know that what I did to myself and my body was wrong, I know that what I did to "look good" was never worth the consequences , because - a body never forgets.
And I felt the need to apologize..to my body, because it took me a lot of work and years to really get over this problem. 
So this song is a message to my body - an apology to what I did and a promise that I won't do it again.
We only have one body...and we should take care of it <3

Luckily I got rid of that over the years, but the truth is: I still sometimes catch myself focusing too much on my weight...and sometimes I remember me feeling the way I felt when I was younger.
Just like that day in Berlin.
But today I know that what I did to myself and my body was wrong, I know that what I did to "look good" was never worth the consequences , because - a body never forgets.
And I felt the need to apologize..to my body, because it took me a lot of work and years to really get over this problem.
So this song is a message to my body - an apology to what I did and a promise that I won't do it again.
We only have one body...and we should take care of it <3

Notice the difference between the push and the pull.  Notice if one leg is more dominant, push a little harder into that heel. Ooit geweten dat lichaamsbeweging goed is voor je huid? Nou het is absoluut waar! Je hebt vast wel eens te horen gekregen dat je huid er na wat lichaamsbeweging, een fietstochtje of een partijtje tennis glanzend uitziet. Veel mensen denken bij lichaamsbeweging alleen maar aan een manier om in vorm te blijven, af te vallen of het immuunsysteem te versterken. Maar lichaamsbeweging doet ook de huid goed. Als je wil dat je huid er gezond uitziet, maak er dan een gewoonte van om elke dag aan lichaamsbeweging te doen!

Lichaamsbeweging voor een fraaie en gezonde huid
Lichaamsbeweging zorgt voor een goede doorbloeding in het lichaam, dus ook voor de huid. Een goed doorbloede huid krijgt meer voedingsstoffen van binnenuit en voert de afvalstoffen beter af. Dit zorgt voor een fris roze teint.

Zweet de giftige afvalstoffen uit! 
Door aan lichaamsbeweging te doen neemt de bloedstroom naar je huid toe. Hierdoor werken de zweetklieren beter. Hoe meer je zweet, hoe meer afvalstoffen je lichaam kwijt kan. Vergeet niet meteen na de oefeningen onder de douche te gaan om de afvalstoffen die je lichaam net heeft uitgezweet weer af te spoelen.

Getrainde spieren geven een strakkere huid
Van elke dag lichaamsbeweging worden je spieren sterker. Je spieren dienen als steun voor de huid. Sterkere spieren geven meer steun waardoor de huid steviger en soepeler wordt. Een ander voordeel van sterkere spieren is dat daardoor cellulitis tegengegaan wordt.

Waarschijnlijk heb je wel eens gemerkt dat je huid er dof uitziet als je gestresst bent. En dat ziet er niet bepaald fraai uit. Stress kan ook acne verergeren en zelfs een andere huidaandoeningen zoals eczeem of psoriasis triggeren. Raak door lichaamsbeweging je stress kwijt. Intet nyt, er ofte godt nyt - og ja ærligt så sker der jo ikke så meget for tiden 😅

Jeg har nu været hjemme i 17 dage, ærligt så syntes jeg ikke det er pisse sjovt. Tværtimod. Jeg har svært ved at finde struktur, og ikke mindst ro! .
Samtidig så begynder min krop virkelig at kunne mærke at blop er derinde et sted 😂. Her til aften ramte jeg satme på spisebordet med maven før noget andet. 😅

Kvalmen er heldigvis væk, men kampen om at få mad ned og om ikke at sove dagen væk pga. trætheden den har vi dagligt 😅- jeg ved ikke helt hvem der vinder den 🤷🏻‍♀️

Spejlbillledet har blop vundet, ingen tvivl om at min største frygt er gjort til skamme - man kan heldigvis godt se jeg er gravid og det ikke bare er fedt på maven 🤰🏻( og lad os håbe det bliver ved sådan 🤯🤞🏻) .
Jeg savner sådan at se mine nærmeste, savn kan være voldsomt - og jeg begynder at blive lidt ramt. Tak for at det hele er så digitalt i dag 🙏
