Another Monday completed ✅

15 mins to create this tasty low carb recipe 🍤. Low carb doesn’t have to mean low plants or little flavor 🔥. Love this yummy recipe by the talented @livevitae . More info below:

Add more seafood to your diet can be great as items like shrimp contain essential fatty acids, iodine and selenium. Shrimp is also low in fat and a high complete protein source.

Seafood is easily digested. This is a great low carb option for those who prefer this style of eating.
.
Zoodles are also one of the quickest ways to cook vegetables and is one of the reasons I love this method.
.
This was all cooked in one pan on a wok. Cooked under 15 minutes. Double up the recipe to serve more.

Ingredients.
1 tbsp extra olive oil or avocado oil
1 large courgette / zucchini
Large handful of kale or other fibrous green
1 plum tomato
175 grams wild tiger prawns (I do not consume farmed fish! Usually contaminated and are fed antibiotics! Save money and buy frozen wild shrimp)
1/2 avocado

1. Preheat pan to medium add 1/2 tbsp of the oil.
2. Add the spiralised courgette and sauté for 5 mins until softened.
3. Add the kale and continue until softened.
4. Remove the veggies from pan.
5. Add the other 1/2 tbsp oil. Add the prawns and cook until cooked through approx 4 mins.
6. Remove from heat.
7. Prep the tomato + avocado
8. plate up and enjoy.

Dal lavoro , dalle relazioni fino allo sport.. Penso non sia un caso che in ogni cosa che si debba fare ci siano degli ostacoli, e credo sia un tutt’uno a rendere ció che facciamo SAPORITO.

Well it sounds like it's official - @instagram is going to be hiding our 'likes' in the US. What are your thoughts on that? I am getting some much needed vitamin d today as lately I haven't been getting as much sun on my body as i probably should.

Life gets busy and we tend to prioritize other things first. But its only a matter of time before you have no choice than to look after yourself because your body will tell you! .

I started to feel like crap yesterday morning and had some flu like symptoms. I rushed out and grabbed about 6 cold pressed juices had a magnesium and essential oils bath and today im feeling better already! The power of healing hey! 😇

So start prioritizing you and your health.  Don't wait til your sick. 😷🤒

Over the weekend, I was given a chance to dig deeper and uncover things about myself; With only 50 days and a little over 6 weeks left to the year, it's time to put everything I have learned to good use and make the rest of the year count!💫⁣⁣

Goals Week 46/52:💫 ⁣⁣⁣
⁣
1-𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙚- My new favorite game, thank you @the_bananadiaries!Put a price tag on the things you see in front of you, while it may not look like they are of value, the purpose of the game is to remind you of how essential and valuable everything around you is! I started doing this today, and it completely shifted my energy from lack to abundance.💫 ⁣⁣⁣

2-𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬-Over the weekend, one of the things I uncovered was how much pain from the past I have been holding onto. The pain has, in return, stopped me from living in the moment. Having released so much of that fear and pain this weekend, it's time to focus genuinely living life to the fullest.💫⁣⁣
⁣
⁣3-𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙮--Every single time I forget why I am doing something, reminding myself of WHY I am doing it always helps. It is a lot easier to be annoyed about something than to dig deep and remind yourself of why you are doing it! And if you don't know the answer to why you are doing it, the answer is to move on!💫⁣

4-𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮-I usually spend a lot of time second-guessing my decisions, which not only causes me a ton of anxiety but takes away from the time I should be allocating to the decision I made. The majority of the time, these are excellent choices that needed to be made, and when they aren't, they are a learning tool!💫 ⁣⁣

5-𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙠-This was my key takeaway from this weekend and my new life mantra. Every single time I find myself getting anxious or upset over something (aka “the stir") I am going to take a step back and remind myself, it’s all going to be ok! 💫

This message is for my binge eaters:

I may not have all the answers, but I know what’s worked for me. And this tip has helped many others...so maybe it’s a starting place for you.
-
The idea of going on a diet felt sort of like getting sentenced to prison. Food was my comfort. And the thought of taking that comfort away was suffocating.
-
But I was so SICK of how I FELT. It wasn’t about looks at that point. My body felt horrible...like I had the flu all of the time. My mind was a wreck...depression and anxiety was taking a toll on my life that even medication was not alleviating.
-
But...I’d start a diet, and do so great all day, but come the evening I would sabotage myself. I would hold off as long as I could until I couldn’t do it anymore, and would eat myself sick.
-
The mindset shift:
1. Telling myself it’s not NEVER...it’s just not NOW.
2. Focusing on my WHY. Why am I wanting to lose weight? How do I want to feel? How will my life be different?
3. Asking myself the question: What do I want the MOST vs what do I want NOW (in the moment)?

Boundaries I set:
I promised myself I could eat ANYTHING I wanted, but I had to take these three steps:
1. Eat a full meal on my plan.
2. Drink an entire bottle of water.
3. Read my ‘why’ out loud.
If, after these steps, I STILL wanted to binge...I was free to do so. -
The scale isn’t always consistent. And when my focus was only on looks...and the scale went up...I felt defeated.
But when I changed my focus to how I felt, mentally AND physically, I had a consistent measure of progress.

The scale isn’t always consistent. And when my focus was only on looks...and the scale went up...I felt defeated.
But when I changed my focus to how I felt, mentally AND physically, I had a consistent measure of progress.

I actually have a neck now!
When I was at my highest (715 pounds) I thought it was impossible to lose this much weight.
But now I know I’ll make it to my goal. I don’t have a number yet for my goal weight because I do better with smaller goals as it doesn’t seem so overwhelming. I have lost 360 pounds and my next goal is to be 315 pounds (currently 354). That will be 400 pounds lost!! When I say the numbers it still seems unbelievable. No matter where you are now you can choose to make the changes needed to get healthy. YOU are in control of your health and if you want it bad enough you will be successful.”

Balance your body and strengthen each part! Your legs are your roots they hold you up, be sure to take care of them and strengthen those muscles. Here I am giving my calves the ultimate burn with weighted calve raises 💪🏽 try these out during leg day 😄 4x20 nice and slow reps!

No matter how labour goes, the first six weeks post partum are super essential to recover and regroup after a MASSIVE 9 months of growing and delivering a tiny human! 👶🏼 💕

Pregnancy and birth can take its toll on the body contributing to the health of your thyroid hormones and antibodies, nutrient stores, iron levels, vitamin B12, vitamin D and zinc. 
The following can help you speed up recovery to heal and feel better sooner! 
1️⃣ Stockpile nutrient dense foods prior to labour and freeze for when needed - smoothie kits, soup, vegetable lasagne are all great options! 
2️⃣ After labour - care for all the bits (🤭) - ice, creams, warm baths - you name it, do it. Speak to your midwife specifically about these recommendations for you based on your experience in labour. 
3️⃣ Stay regular 💩 - Enjoy plenty of fibre rich foods post partum (wholegrains, raw fruits and vegetables), go for walks, hydrate and enjoy herbal teas to get and stay regular (avoid straining at any cost 🙈)
4️⃣ Get outdoors where possible to soak up some vitamin D. 15 minutes with you face, neck and arms per day is plenty
5️⃣ We recommend continuing a pregnancy / lactation multi vitamin to more quickly replenish nutrients that have been depleted through losses during labour. 
6️⃣ Consult a womens health physio / osteo to assess, repair and rebuild.
