The best motivation is yourself. Losing weight isnt a easy thing to do. Takes alot of changes. Took a change in the way i ate my food, what foods i was eating, and how much i was eating. Not only that i had to change the amount of activity and exercise i was doing. Change is never a easy thing to do. To break out of your comfort zone and step into a new place. Sometimes you fall but great thing about falling is you can always get back up. Just know you can do anything in life. I always dream of losing my weight. At 400+ pounds i wasnt living life. I was always watching others live theirs. I felt like giving up so many times. One thing i always told myself losing weight is hard but not giving up is harder. Never give up on your dreams. Sometimes the goals doesnt workout doesnt mean you change the goal. Just got to change the plans and keep striving towards yours goals. You are your best motivation ❤

The ingredient list may look slightly long but it’s mostly spices. Plus, it couldn’t be easier to make. All your need is stove to heat things up and a blender. ⠀

DAIRY-FREE QUESO⠀
⠀
Makes 3 1/2 cups⠀
⠀
1 cup diced russet potato⠀
1/2 cup diced orange or yellow carrots⠀
1/2 cup raw cashews ⠀
3 cups filtered water⠀
1/2 cup nutritional yeast⠀
Juice from ½ lemon⠀
1 teaspoon sea salt⠀
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder⠀
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika⠀
1/2 teaspoon chili powder⠀
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin⠀
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper⠀
1 tablespoon arrowroot powder (optional - makes it thick and velvety)⠀

Boil potatoes, carrots, cashews, and water for 10 minutes. Add everything to a blender and blend till smooth. Enjoy immediately with your favorite tortilla chips. I like @sietefoods. Also, highly recommended to garnish with pico de gallo and cilantro.⠀

I speak to so many people that tell me they are working out 5,6,7 days week and arent able to lose weight.

There is so much more to losing weight than spending countless hours at the gym 🏃🏻‍♀️ First thing is first - You need to be in a calorie deficit in order top lose weight. You need -to burn more calories / energy than you consume. There is no short cut around that. 
Every diet out there has one thing in common. CALORIE DEFICIT… 
Ditch ❌ the fad diets! These quick detoxes and juice cleanses arent sustainable. Your body is smart and designed to withstand famine. That means it will compensate for restriction by driving up your hunger levels. “If you go on a regimented food plan that does not take into consideration your individual calorie needs or food likes or dislikes, it cannot last forever,” It will become unsustainable and that’s were the dieting yo-yo effect comes in. You lose 5kg and gain it back… Which than causes you to stress - which may lead to elevated cortisol levels that stimulate your appetite, with the end result being weight gain or difficulty losing weight.

Heres what you need to do to lose weight. ✅ Get on top of your nutrition. Be in a calorie deficit.
Eat real, whole foods and less processed foods. ✅ Reduce stress. This is so important as I explained what happens when your stress levels elevate. ✅ Strength train 🏋🏻‍♀️ / exercise 3 - 5 x per week. 
Strength training is so important for weight loss because muscle helps you burn more calories. The more muscle you have the more calories you are going to burn. The best thing is it doesn’t end after you leave the gym. Your body is still torching calories for the next 24 to 48 hours as it works to repair stressed muscle tissues. That's known as the after burn effect. ✅ Exercising promotes the release of feel-good chemicals in the brain like endorphins and serotonin. So when you feel good you are more than likely to make better food choices that will help you stay on track.

Well, I found a recipe that was sort of like it, so I adapted it & "ta-daa" 🎉  I give you - 'Nanna's Savoury Rice' 
This tastes sooo good & is also very authentic to the old 'cheat'... It sets my tastebuds off on a nostalgic trip into the past. I serve it with 'Chicken Chuck it in the Oven', Steamed or poached fish or just on it's own.

Last year I got started a change in my life , I've always worked my whole time , at least it was what I thought . When I cut excuses and cut all negative people who surrounded me. I made a mindset,  I changed all my daily routine  to take care of myself.  When I started it wasn't easy and I've always heard people say something  like : " you're wasting your time" or even " you should spend your money with another thing"
In  brief , almost one year has passed by, and I changed a lot, not just my body has changed, my mind too. When you really  want something will always have someone  to say that you're not good  enough,  but don't listen to them.

Waking up with this view is something I unconsciously manifested into my life. I've been talking about living here since I was little. With the warm weather 24/7 & aesthetically pleasing palm trees. I spent so much time daydreaming, obsessing over this place & I put so much positive thought into what it would feel like to live here.
And although I still have various other goals & dreams in this time of my life, this serves as another reminder that I create my reality, whether consciously or unconsciously. Pay attention to the stuff you put out into the world. The universe is always listening. Be more deliberate & intentional w/ your words, actions, thoughts & emotions. It's all energy, love. I very much enjoy cooking but I rarely ever bake! So my family was pretty pumped about this Apple Pie I made yesterday. We had an entire crisper drawer of apples from the farm this weekend and I couldn’t let them go to waste. Here’s the recipe I used. I substituted 3 spices for vitality oils ☺️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients: 🌿 2 9-inch pie crusts 🌿 5-7 apples - used Granny Smith 🌿 3/4 cup sugar 🌿 1/2 cup brown sugar 🌿 1/4 tsp salt 🌿 2 tbsp flour 🌿 1 drop nutmeg vitality essential oil 🌿 1 drop cinnamon bark vitality essential oil 🌿 1 drop clove vitality essential oil 🌿 2 tbsp butter ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Directions: 🍏Preheat oven to 450 🍏Peel the apples and chop them in thin slices 🍏 Mix all ingredients together except the butter🍏 Microwave the mix for 2-3 minutes and stir again so all of the apples are covered well. 🍏 Pour mixture into the first pie crust 🍏 Slice the butter into several pieces and place them on top of the apples so they melt in the oven. 🍏 Top the pie with the other pie crust pressing down all around the edges and then make 5 slits with a knife on the top 🍏 Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes and then turn it down to 350 and bake for 45 min.

Make these red pickled onions & watch how they magically turn simple dishes into delicious and flavorful meals! These wonderful pink delights make everything better: dinner, lunch, and breakfast! And the process of making them is faster & easier than you think! It takes less than an hr to make them and you only need 6 basic ingredients.

Ingredients
1 cup (115g) red onion (1 medium, very thinly sliced
1/2 cup (118 ml) water
1/4 cup (59 ml) distilled white vinegar
1/4 cup (59 ml) apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. (22 ml) pure maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt

Instructions
To make the quick pickled onions, press the sliced onions into a 1-pint (473 ml mason jar) or similar heat-safe container. Place the jar in the sink, as this will help to catch any splashes of hot vinegar later.
In a small saucepan, combine the water, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, pure maple syrup, & sea salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over med heat, then carefully pour heated mixture into jar over onions.
Use a spoon to press the onions down into the vinegar and remove any air bubbles in the jar.
Let the pickled onions cool to room temperature, about 25-30 min before serving.

salads – adding pickled onions to salads is a great way to add flavor and texture.

A PETA water bottle a vegan friend gave me two years ago, with lots of info about how much water eating meat and dairy wastes!

Breakfast Quiche with Thyme and Rosemary essential oils
Servings:8–10 Prep Time:45 min Cook Time:40–70 min Difficulty:Medium
Ingredients:

1 quiche crust, homemade or pre-made
1 small or medium zucchini, cut into ¼ inch rounds
1 small or medium yellow crookneck squash, cut into ¼ inch rounds
1 cup steamed broccoli florets
1 cup steamed cauliflower florets
1–2 tablespoons butter
2-ounces feta cheese
1–2 Roma tomatoes, cut into ¼ inch half moons
6 large eggs
½ pint whipping cream
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ to ½ teaspoon hot sauce
1–2 drops Thyme oil
1 drop Rosemary oil
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350° F.
Precook and prepare crust in a quiche/ tart pan. 
Bake crust until golden brown and let cool completely.
While baking, cut vegetables and cook for about five minutes.
In a medium skillet, melt butter and add all precooked vegetables, coat with butter, remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature.
Whisk together eggs, whipping cream, salt, pepper, hot sauce, and essential oils in bowl.
Add vegetable mixture to crust.
Top with crumbled feta cheese.
Pour egg mixture into quiche over buttered and cooled vegetables. Arrange tomato slices over top of quiche.
Bake at 350° F for 40–70 minutes until egg mixture is golden in color and set in the middle.
Transfer quiche to cooling rack for 15 minutes and enjoy. 
Tips:

A pie pan may also be used, adjusting cooking time accordingly. You can check the middle by poking with a toothpick or knife; when it comes out clean it is set. Times will vary based on size, style of pan, and amount of ingredients used.
