In the current situation, we have noticed there is a lot of negative media/news flying around. One of the best ways to stay positive is to learn to control your mind and thoughts.⁣

People may say staying positive is easier said than done. But it is not as hard as it may seem - just practice practice practice.⁣⁣👏

Below are a few useful tips to improve your positive thinking and reduce negative thoughts:⁣⁣

1. Learn to replace negative thoughts with a positive one. 
2. Try and find a positive in every situation even though you may be surrounded by negativity⁣⁣

Seeing a lot of people still complaining that they cant get hold of any Free Weights, so there training is going to suffer.

Guys...train with your Bodyweight!!! Unless your a competitive athlete then honestly you don't NEED to be using Barbells and Dumbbells 
Spend some time moving your body and work on your weaknesses or general stuff you suck at!

So, if you're mobility is lacking spend time working on stretching, movement flows and Increases your end ranges of motion. 
Take a break from all the Bench Press and use your body to open Your shoulders and T Spine

Take a break from heavy loaded Squats and Deads and work on Joint Strength, Health and Joint Capsule Stability + Mobility

Swap to Higher Rep Bodyweight Exercises, get some blood flow into your muscles and joints

Do Circuits and work on your fitness 
ALL of this is an effective use of time!

Or you can continue to complain, sulk, and waste energy not being Better every day.

The choice is yours!

Less than 6 weeks to go 😳 (if I don’t go past my due date). Being so close to having a baby during this pandemic gives me a ton of mixed feelings. Part of me feels like I did when I was pregnant with Connor- eager to meet baby and ready to not be pregnant anymore (not that I’m not grateful- the end of pregnancy is just physically uncomfortable and I’m slowing down a lot). But then part of me wants baby to stay in my belly as long as possible so that hopefully things can begin to improve in the outside world. We have been super strict with social distancing in order to keep our family healthy, and I worry about Connor staying with my parents when we go to the hospital if things are not much better at that point. I worry about Kevin, the new baby, and me being in a hospital where there will potentially be a lot of sick people. It makes me sad to think that coming home from the hospital we may have to go right back into isolation and not see any of our family members- which would be so so hard for us but I know would also kill them to not be able to meet the baby right away. But I tell myself these things are all completely out of my control. And I tell myself that so far, we are lucky. Everyone close to us is healthy and that means SO much right now. Any other pregnant mamas out there? How are you handling all of this? Even if you’re not pregnant- are you OKAY?

Day 4..... Another walk, another adventure and another day of doing not a lot! A very slow walk in the country side, taking in the surroundings....... I'm sure this will get much harder but so far I actually feel like my body and mind are relaxing for the first time in god knows how long!

So I’ve let my man down many a times with our garden 💔. I gotta be honest. As much as I want to be all green🪀on here it’s hard for me. As with all one legged balances the foundation of the foot on the floor is extremely important...3 things to help improve foot stability are;
1) Spread the toes
2) Equal weight distribution throughout the foot 
3) Press the big toe into the ground - the moment you let it lift you’ll be hopping around the joint .
Other than that, wherever your leg in the air ends up really doesn’t matter as long as your hips are even and you spine is neutral (tall/straight/following its natural curve)
