"Ancaman Cedera Hamstring bagi para pendaki"

Cedera ini umumnya dialami oleh olahragawan, tapi sering juga dialami oleh pendaki saat melakukan pendakian, dan bisa dibagi dalam tiga tingkatan, yaitu:

Tingkat 1: tarikan ringan pada otot hamstring.

Tingkat 2: robekan pada sebagian otot hamstring.

Tingkat 3: robekan pada seluruh bagian otot hamstring.

Hamstring adalah tiga otot besar yang berfungsi menghubungkan otot dan tulang, terletak di belakang paha, memanjang dari pinggul hingga bagian bawah lutut. Hamstring tidak terlalu digunakan saat berdiri atau berjalan, namun akan sangat aktif saat melakukan aktivitas yang melibatkan gerakan menekuk lutut, seperti memanjat, melompat, dan berlari.

Gejala Cedera Hamstring

Cedera hamstring biasanya menimbulkan rasa sakit disertai sensasi robek atau putus di bagian belakang paha secara tiba-tiba. Bengkak, nyeri, dan memar juga mungkin muncul di belakang paha seiring melemahnya otot dan kehilangan kemampuan menahan beban pada bagian yang cedera.

Penyebab Cedera Hamstring

Penyebab utama cedera ini adalah karena otot hamstring meregang melebihi batasnya saat melakukan aktivitas tertentu, seperti berlari atau melompat.

Beberapa faktor yang bisa meningkatkan risiko cedera hamstring, di antaranya adalah:

Olahraga. Aktivitas olahraga, seperti berlari, berisiko menyebabkan cedera hamstring.

Riwayat cedera hamstring. Seseorang yang pernah cedera hamstring lebih berisiko untuk mengalaminya lagi.

Kelenturan otot yang buruk. Kondisi ini membuat otot tidak bisa menahan beban atau tekanan saat melakukan aktivitas.

Perkembangan otot yang tidak seimbang. Beberapa ahli berpendapat bahwa cedera hamstring rentan terjadi jika otot paha bagian depan (quadriceps)lebih kuat daripada otot hamstring.

ALL THE DEADLIFTS 💀 ⁣

The deadlift is one of the best exercises out there. ⁣

Problem is it’s notoriously hard to learn. One bad rep could mean a terrible bout of back pain. ⁣
⁣
Having someone help you through the progressions, learning hip hinging and mastering the technique is highly advised if you want to avoid injury. ⁣
⁣
Here’s Andrew learning the barbell deadlift, Martin learning the Romanian deadlift, and Simon smashing a heavy 112.5kg trap bar deadlift.

Have had some really short workout sessions lately because I've been working on my truck after work so I don't have to ride with the boss to work. Thankfully my parents know my gym obsession and let me use their car. 
2 great exercises: 
1) @sethferoce uses this in one of his leg day videos. Pick a footing position (I like high and close). 10 reps, leave the leg up there for a 30 sec rest (rack the weight), 10 more reps. Killer burn
2) kneeling leg curls. On the eccentric portion of the lift only go about half to 3/4 rep in order to keep tension on the hamstring for the whole ROM.

Grow those tree trunks!

📝 The hamstrings are made up of three muscles: the biceps femoris which is located at the outer side of the thigh; the semitendinosus, which is located at the inner side of the thigh and the semimembranosus, which is mostly covered by the semitendinosus. If you trained for perfect symmetrie in your hamstrings both of your “semi” muscles should add up together to about the size of your biceps femoris. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥Often times those three parts don’t develop proportionally though as some people tend to develop the biceps femoris first while others develop the “semis” dominantly. This is due to either individual physical structures with regard to the bones or (which is more common), faulty motor control and suboptimal selection of hamstring exercises as well as lack of variety. A great way to overcome those kind of hamstring imbalances is working with different feet positions when doing leg curls:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➕ If you point your toes out focus shifts on the biceps femoris. If you feel your semis are the dominant ones this is a great way to make leg curls more biceps femoris dominant.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➕When pointing your toes inwards on the other hand work will focus more on the semis.

Second is one of the staples of training my hamstrings. Stiff leg dumbbell deadlifts. I love using dumbbells because I get more depth without as much weight on the lower back. •

The last video shows hip thrusts. I have a love/hate with these. My goal moving forward to make these better are to slow the eccentric contraction down even more, and holding my squeeze more at the top. •

LEGS!! Here’s my leg workout that I did last night. You will notice that there is no squats in this workout, the reason is, you don’t need to incorporate squats to get strong and defined legs there are other movements that still target the quad, hamstrings and flutes. And don’t forget, if your not pulling stupid faces are you even training hard enough 🤷🏾‍♂️

Worked up to 397 in frame walk! Wheeee. Then it’s 307 sans straps. It’s leg day again and what better way to train them then some barbell lunges!

It can be difficult to do them walking in a gym without clothes lining someone and although great exercise, people with knee issues tend to have some trouble with them.

➡️Barbell Reverse Lunge- fixes both problems at once and allows you to lunge with a barbell conveniently and functionally!

✅Now don’t get me wrong, I love going all Ronnie Colman with the barbell lunges but face it. He’s doing it in a parking lot, not next to paying clients. So I’d just take that outside!

✅Knee problems could keep you from lunging all together but either with bar or dumbbells, this is gonna be the way to go. By stepping back instead of forward there’s no slamming the heel down on the floor. Front leg/knee stays fixed and safe!

✅Lunges are one of the best exercises out there. No other hits quads, hamstrings, glutes as well as taxes your heart rate all at the same time. If your not doing this one make sure your doing one of them!

Today was a great day!!! Yesterday I trained #quads, today I trained #hamstrings and #back, and tomorrow I will focus on #glutes and probably ad some #biceps and #triceps..break for a day from #legs and do it all over again! Yup, I'm hitting legs 5-6 days a week bc they asked for it 🤷🏾‍♀️ 🤣 My recovery has been #amazing 🙌🏾 my appetite has come up soooo much and i owe it all to God 🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾.
