it’s a rest day for me... so here’s a rare picture of me when I’m actually wearing something other than gym clothes 😅

Little life update for you all, I had my monthly measurements yesterday and I’ve gained weight and increased in the places I’m looking to gain weight in! The plan is to up my calories by 100 for this week, keeping my training the same and 1 rest day a week! Would anyone be interested in my current training split/ meals I have? I’m thinking about sharing more about my routine on here 💓

Always a question I asked myself when I first joined the gym.. heres my advice ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
- Provides structure ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There is nothing worse than feeling like you’re wasting time right? Having a plan provides you with the structure to your session⁣⁣
so you’re not wondering around the gym thinking what shall i do next!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
- Helps prevent under or over training⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If your trying to piece together different workouts you could be training the same body parts over and over again which may not be assisting you in your goal whatever that may be. Having a plan will ensure you cover all areas allowing your goal to be achieved!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
- Provides you with a goal!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Knowing you have 8 weeks on a plan that you want to achieve and complete can keep your motivation levels high!⁣⁣

Couldn’t agree more! I have been taught this through my own recognition and other people pointing out examples when I was not. Those moments won’t be forgotten. I use them to continue getting better and when I am not kind to someone, recognize it and go make amends immediately! Be humble and put my ego in check and  admit when I was wrong. Super enjoyable 18.2km this morning along the River Thames to be millennium bridge🏃‍♀️ 🌉 💗 So lovely to explore all of London in the sunshine (wasn’t too cold but did have my gloves!), ran past Parliament, the London Eye & the Tate!! 🌟 Happy Sunday my lovelies 🥰💗🤗

AND YES I WORE SHORTS TO THE GYM TODAY AND ITS WINTER, BUT I KEPT MY JUMPER ON FOR TODAYS LEG SESSION SO SHORTS WHERE  NECESSARY, I MADE THESE MYSELF FYI! I THOUGHT I DONT REACH FOR THOSE GYMSHARK LEGGINGS ALL THAT MUCH AND IF THEY WHERE SHORT ID WEAR THEM MORE.. SO I CUT THEM AND WORE THEM 😊

Ending my week by taking a step back. 
Routines are great. I like them. And I follow mine pretty rigorously. It can become easy, however, to forget elements outside of your practice. Finishing all of your work and checking off all of your to-do lists doesn’t mean you’ve necessarily achieved anything. We’re meant to enjoy the journey. Not rush it. So I'm taking a step back to enjoy today, not complete it. And in turn, I think this will allow me to take a step forward.

I recently tried @fabletics for the first time.. ordered 4 pairs for my birthday🎂. If you are like me, you are skeptical to try new online companies once you find one that you like. I decided to branch out and give them a chance though! .

Here’s my thoughts of you care to read😂😁. Material is a good stretchy soft quality. Overall fit is true to size. I am 5’3” and 125 is lbs. wearing a small and it works. My only critique is- I wish the waist band was like half an inch wider / higher. I am tempted to pull them up which creates some 🐫if you aren’t careful. Otherwise, I like!

if there’s one thing I know for sure about myself it’s that learning to love me, in all seasons of life or this journey even, is the absolute hardest thing. Watching my 10 beautiful teammates compete, my prep/show/gym mom go freaking OCB Bikini PRO and my big sissy who brought me to this beautiful team absolutely crush it at worlds yesterday reminds me why I do what I do and why I love this sport and what it’s all about. The question is never HOW do I get there, it’s WHEN I get there... because i will. I’ve been in a nice long off season for all of  2019 and after watching @nysnatural yesterday I am definitely back in the mindset and ready to finish the rest 2019 off season strong as hell, and come in blazin’ hot for my 2020 season. Had a lovely lady ask me whether going to the gym too much is bad for you - and whilst looking after our bodies is so important - overworking them is NOT what we want 😅 taking rest days & listening to your body is so important to refuel and recharge, let the muscles do what they need to do🙆🏻‍♀️

Managed 5 sessions this week, with PB’s, so super happy with that💃🏻 feeling like I’m really enjoying my workouts at the moment and it’s actually motivating me, I usually don’t feel like that this time of year!🥶 hope everyone smashed their workouts and goals this week & if not there’s always next time🤷🏻‍♀️ looking forward to a new week of workouts💃🏻🙆🏻‍♀️

Little life update for you all, I had my monthly measurements yesterday and I’ve gained weight and increased in the places I’m looking to gain weight in! The plan is to up my calories by 100 for this week, keeping my training the same and 1 rest day a week! Would anyone be interested in my current training split/ meals I have? I’m thinking about sharing more about my routine on here 💓

Happy Sunday guys! Started my morning off early with an arm and ab workout. Other than the fact that I slipped on ice today sliced my knee open and hitting my head so hard, today I’m going to be meal prepping for the week. I decided I’m going to do this because I need to start getting the right amount of nutrients in my body to feel good inside and out. I realized I’m not getting nearly enough protein or greens in my diet to be growing as much as I want to:). EVEN THOUGH I am do this meal prep I’m still going to keep it 80/20. Because I don’t like to restrict the foods I like because it just makes life harder, just eat in moderation😋 Hoping this works out for me and lmk if you guys want to know more about what I’m going to make today🥰 ~reminder to make time for YOU today, and love you for you and make this week your week and conquer it like no other💪🏼
