Do you think you make sacrifices to compete?  I don’t think so.  I don’t believe when you have a choice to do something you are sacrificing anything.  You can simply not do it.  I hear people talking about how they sacrifice eating burgers and going out drinking with friends... well just go do it! -
The people who make sacrifices though are the people closest to you. They don’t make a choice for you to compete, but they do choose to either support you or not.  I’m lucky that the person closest to me @natalia.soares_  supports me and she sacrifices a lot!  6-9 months a year she sacrifices having a normal life with me and for that I’m grateful and it also drives me to bust my ass and not make her sacrifices go to waste!

So... I died this morning... Week 2 Day 1 of @bodyfitbalance challenge and my legs are hurting! I also didn’t have the time to film anything this morning because I was trying to get through my workout so please forgive me, but y’all... THE PUMP WAS REAL TODAY. 😭💙-

- Y’all, one thing that most of us don’t do enough is take pride in the strength we already do have. We see so many people who might lift more than us without fail, or people who have better cardiovascular endurance than us, but we don’t appreciate enough what our own bodies are capable of. This morning I had 4x20 sets of hip thrusts. I surprised myself by doing those sets at 185 lbs and next week I’ll be doing 5x10’s at 225 lbs and eventually I failed on my last set. IT IS OKAY. If you’re working hard you should be failing at some point. You should be proud of the strength you currently have and are getting from your hard work and your dedication. Stop comparing yourself to someone else when the only competition you have is YOU. Appreciate your body, how it looks, how it feels, how strong it is, how much stronger it’s going to be. Your body deserves that love after all the hard work it is going through during the week. 💙 -

Here is Tims final set of triples yesterday where he pulled 95% of his max for an easy set w/ about 1-2 RIR. Now a scheduled deload this past week and now back to the heavy lifting! Going to be fun! 😈

Dont ever give up on your goals. When they are hard keep pushing your about to break through. When you dont see progress snap photos and compare as long as you follow course you will see a difference in pictures. Also biggest thing rememebr it took a long time to gain the weight (maybe your whole life) it can take a long time to see results. You got this ❤

Woke up this morning at 198lbs so put on 5-6lbs since Saturday. Not too bad, but still keeping up with cardio and getting back to basics. After much reflection I am truly happy and proud of how I placed at the show. 3rd place is still an accomplishment and Something I don’t take lightly. It may not be what I wanted but not to bad for my second show. And the best part is I can only get better from here. Failure is apart of life and it’s what pushes us to be great. Now it’s back to the drawling board and figuring out the next move. Can’t wait for what is to come. Keep grinding, Keep working hard, and stay positive!✌🏼
