Workouts - WHEN are you going to workout? Schedule your workouts in — don’t just wait around for when you’re feeling motivated to do them! Schedule them like an appointment, and keep that appointment!

WATER - How are you going to keep yourself accountable to drinking water? I HIGHLY recommend getting a BIG water bottle (1L+) and keeping it next to you ALL day. Create the habit of taking sips every 15-20 minutes!

NUTRITION - How are you going to make healthy eating EASY for you this week? Meal prepping? Frozen meals?

WHAT’S THE PLAN? Waiting for each day to come and deciding what to eat in the moment is a sure fire way to FAIL. If you don’t have a plan for nutrition, it will NOT go well this week - I guarantee it! Take the time to plan your meals and snacks out for this upcoming week, and your nutrition will be SO much more on point!

Just started my second week of Wendler’s 5/3/1 ”boring but big” program. This involves training bench, squat, OHP, and deadlift each twice a week, and hitting two compound lifts each individual session (8 total working sets). I can honestly say it’s the hardest I’ve ever worked, but I’m confident the increased frequency on the big lifts will lead to major gains. Let’s get it 💪🏼

Following my first test day which involved performing the three big lifts all in one session! (First time I have ever done this) I am over the moon with my achieved numbers, I now have a baseline to progress and improve from. It was my first experience of free squatting not inside a power rack or cage. The form on my deadlift wasn’t the best, so I think I might include a day focused solely on deadlift form, so I’ll probably work at 50% of my 1 rep max and take it from there. My main issue is learning to push down with my legs once I’ve broken the bar. More than happy to have any suggestions of accessory movements I can try out. Let’s get better and stronger each day! Fail, learn, reflect & improve. . . . .

Make your bed in the morning. Wake up, turn around and make it. Setting your house in perfect order before you Criticise the world will inevitably lead to you raising your own standards. .

It’s not a difficult task. But it’s something you’ve accomplished at the start of your day. This can then turn into washing all the dishes before you leave the house. Then investing in that one course to further your education. Completing that one gym workout. .
.
No one is asking you to do these all at once. Just one task at a time. Write a list of ALL tasks. No matter how small or large, then work through them, from easiest and most insignificant, to largest and most challenging. .
.
Rewarding yourself for small wins, teaching yourself that THIS is the way you want to live. .
.
So take responsibility, ownership of your life. You are not a victim. You are not a victim! .

Normally sit at around 64kg, last time I jumped on the scales I was around 73kg? So the difficult task of dropping my unwanted weight whilst still increasing my strength begins.
