I just don’t want to look back and think I could’ve eaten that (or drank that hehe)😇
Hell yes I’m in a cutting phase right now, yes I have goals, yes I want to lose weight and yes I will accomplish this but that does not mean I stop living, that does not mean I have to stop grabbing drinks and pizza with friends, that does not mean I have to say no to life. Being my own coach is kind of badass, being able to adjust my own protocols quickly for spontaneous things that come up is incredible. Definitely testing me mentally a little but it’s been interesting thus far and cannot wait to see where it takes me😈
This was last week when I had my first ‘free meal’ of this cut and guess what... I’m down 3.1 lbs in NINE days... Just over here trying to show y’all it’s possible to accomplish your goals and lose weight, even with some pizza and espresso martinis..

I trained legs today, what did you guys train today?

Hope everyone has had a great week, mine has been a bit stressful. Trying to get back into a routine and ya girl is struggling but it’s going to be ok. So until I get back on track, working out is sort of my escape.

Something I FINALLY realised over the past year is that no. one. cares. if. you. are. shredded! And if someone is purely friends with you because of your appearance (sadly there are people like that), it’s time to get them out of your life because they don’t deserve to be around you.

💥Leg Day-Glutes/Hamstrings💥
Part 2 of the 2x a week leg day split.  This was one of those days when the gym was crazy busy so I had to work with what was available. Support your New Years resolutioners! 🏋🏼‍♀️ 1️⃣Seated leg curl machine. 4 sets/8-10 reps. 
2️⃣Glute kick-back machine. Can also be done with cables and an ankle strap if your gym doesn’t have one of these. 4 sets/8-10 reps. 
3️⃣Smith machine squats. 4 sets/6-8 reps. 
4️⃣Smith machine deadlifts. 4sets/6-8 reps. 
5️⃣Wall squats➡️superset with waking lunges. 4 sets/30-60 seconds squat & 6-8 steps each leg.

I had chest, shoulders and tris today 💪🏻 It’s my first shoulder day of my new plan it it was so 🔥 I can’t even take it!!!! I know, the drama, but for real!! This workout was amazing! I PR’d my bench press, my T-bar press, and my single arm shoulder press 😭🙌🏻 Take your frustrations to the gym and watch the magic happen! •
I didn’t PR my push press but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have a good time doing them. This is my current fave shoulder lift because it’s fun and it gets my heart rate up within a few reps 😅💥

In my earlier twenties, I wanted to have a perfect body; slim with muscle definition, a perky bum, and a flat stomach. And while I deeply wished for it, I didn't take the steps to get there. I didn't have a gym membership, I refused to exercise, and I was lazy! I figured that I would starve myself into the body I wanted even though I KNEW in the core of my psyche that exercise was the answer; but I was cozy in my comfort-zone and exercise was intimidating. I didn't want to deal with the challenge because I felt that it was too much work. I didn't want to deal with it. 😒
.
My reluctance to step outside of my comfort-zone held me back and I wasted so much time 😖, but as time kept passing and as my frustrations grew I felt motivated enough to finally take action 🔥. With a tremendous amount of anxiety and fear, I marched my butt to the nearest gym and hesitantly signed up.
I had opened an opportunity to work on my body and to achieve what I desperately wanted rather than sitting at home and wasting more time. 👌

When we hear things about visualizing your dreams, law of attraction, setting up goals, the ask-and-you-shall-receive mentality, our ideas remain stuck in our heads. 
There's a critical piece of information that's been left out in all of those things, and it's this; ✨Take ACTION. Physically do something and put yourself out there.✨
.
Don't wait for an opportunity to come to you. You need to create these opportunities yourself! If it fails or seems impossible then do something different and don't ever stop trying. 
The only limitation is yourself. 🌿
.
We live in a time and place where almost anything is possible, and we only have one run at life, so why not take a chance? You can always say that you gave it a shot and it wasn't for you, OR you can say that you're glad you took a leap of faith and it was worth it. ✌️

This extended fast was ridiculously easy. I could have gone at least another day, but since it’s questionable that fasting beyond 72 hours provides more health benefits (if you don't know what the benefits are, check out @kendberry.md’s recent IGTV post on fasting) and I don't want to lose weight, it was time to eat. I broke my fast with GF/PR Bovine Collagen in my Coffee followed by Pastured Chicken Eggs fried in Grass-Fed Butter, Wild Salmon Roe, and Pastured Chicken Liver & Skin Pâté. Two hours later I had a GF/PR Burger and Pastured Chicken Thighs. #EatLikeAGirl . . . . .

Oh I miss my long hair, slowly but surely ;) I’m working hard this year to check many off my list including, hiking a national park. Struggling with body image + comparison is a tough journey, especially when feeding the mind negatively. I’ve spent majority of my life worrying about what people think of me but at the end of the day, what truly matters is what I think about myself. And I’m just over it, I choose happiness. I am choosing myself over people who have no idea who I am. Choose yourself and choose happiness! Happy Saturday ✌🏼 .

hello!! Quads looking🔥🔥 but deadlifts were not having it today, I tried to go heavy but had to instead go with volume however I did do 5x3 @ 205 which is more than I’ve ever done so that’s cooool. I also did conventional deficits, good mornings, landmine work and some accessories and swipe 👉🏼 for a 🍑 check, she’s there, poppin and thriving. •
