⏩ Don’t you find that the weekends just fly by?? I try to stay away from work on the weekends and spend as much quality time as I can with the family/friends. That could mean a nice dinner out or a family activity whether it be outdoors (family walks) or indoors (card games). However, sometimes you just have to get stuff done. We finally took the tree down and outdoor lights but made it a family affair. Involve the kids in your daily tasks. You are teaching life skills and they and especially you, will appreciate each other more for it 😉

Save this for when your in a rush. Todays took me 17 minutes and I was gassed! 
This workout consists of 4 supersets. So 8 drills, each one done for 10 reps! 
Repeat 4 times taking 1 minute between rounds! 
Here are the supersets! 
1: goblet squat and banded kick outs

30 second rest 
2: shoulder press and renegade row

Completed the first 3 weeks of my program. Over the next 3 weeks I’ll be adding heavier weight even if it makes my reps go down. After that I’ll really be cracking down on my food intake and dropping the weight for more reps. I’ve had a few days where I haven’t gotten myself to do the short set of 15 min workouts. Crazy when you think of it not being able to do just 15 min. I blame it on having three small kids and being to tired to get up earlier. 🤪😝😅 But I do love training, so today I’m doing a double set. 
Here you can see two out of five from the first set. 
WOD 1
1. STAR 10 times [one foot on the chair and one arm on the floor. Lay straight as a plank. Move the lower foot up and down touching the chair and then the floor. Change side in the next set.]
2. BURPEES CHAIR 10 times [stand with bent legs with your front towards the chair. Jump back and put your arms against the chair and do a push-up. Then jump up to standing with bent legs again.]
3. HIGH KNEES WITH CHAIR 20 times [hold on to the chairs back. Lift your knee so it touches your arm. Switch leg. Do 10 on each leg.]
4. LEG IN THE AIR 20 times [watch movie. Do 10 on each side.]
5. SIDE PLANK 10 times [watch movie. Switch side in the next set.]

➡️ Glute Kickback, knee out while pushing targeting they “side booty”; slow motion, no momentum; 3 sets, 10 reps⠀
➡️ Glute Kickbacks, neutral; slow motion, no momentum; 3 sets, 10 reps⠀
➡️ Single-leg Cable RDL, keeping torso aligned, don’t let it sink towards pulley 👉🏼 Alternate legs, on both sides working inner and outer side; 3 sets, 15 reps⠀
➡️ Booty Builder Hip Thrust; 3 sets, 15 reps⠀
➡️ Nordic Ham Curls, 3 sets, 8-10 reps 👉🏼 My hamstrings are weak, and it’s hard for me to not hinge at the hips when coming back up, but I’m working on it⠀

This year I decided I needed to get back in shape😬😬😬I joined Jazzercise as I had great success with it historically and it is fun. 💪💪💪 I was heading out this morning for my 9:30 class in Shawnigan - and this is what I saw as I turned down my street. 🌈🌈🌈Hmmm- interesting where this rainbow seems to end.  Bench School- location for two Jazzercise classes each week- two that I missed this past week!  My goal is to get back in shape.  Goals in life are best achieved when we have a plan! They don’t just happen without action!  My plan is 12 classes per month minimum. They are in my calendar. I am going print this picture and put it at my desk to remind myself that my resolution requires action and follow through. This right here is why progress photos are SO important!  When I looked at myself I felt good, but I didn’t realize how much my body had changed in the last 6-7 months! ⁣

That being said I’ve been on 5 trips, and LIVED my life and was still able to see results! ⁣

The reason is always the same, I stopped doing crash diet and looking for quick fixes✖️⁣

So what are my TOP tips on how I transformed my body in 6 months: ⁣

✔️ Ate more WHOLE foods (fuelling my body to feel feel good rather than look good) ⁣

✔️ Added more high intensity workouts alongside my weight training (getting that HR up without doing hours of cardio) ⁣
⁣
✔️ Honoured my cravings but DIDN’T binge (if I wanted a chocolate bar, I had it, but didn’t go into F it mode and have 5) ⁣
⁣
✔️ Intermittent fasting (this is KEY in my journey as it allows me to have bigger meals in the afternoon - I do 9-10 hours feeding & 14-15 hours fasting) ⁣

Das neue Jahr hat etwas turbulent begonnen und wir haben ganz viel Zeit zu dritt verbracht, denn Papa ist für ein paar Monate zu Hause ❤️ Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall kennengelernt und als Familie eingelebt. Little E. wächst von Tag zu Tag sichtlich... natürlich denn ihr Tag besteht aus essen, pupsen und schlafen 😅 #bestlife ...
