Things i find myself asking/talking about now are never anything i would have dreamed of. Is my milk coming in? How will i know when he’s done ? What if I’m not swaddling him correctly? Why has he not pooped since we left the hospital? When do you bath a baby? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The list goes on (trust me) and i only can control so many things at one time.  Not knowing, or not having a plan, is not how i operate so I’m having to learn to just relax and learn as we all 3 go together. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Currently, i am sitting here and breastfeeding you at 2:30am waiting for you to burp so i can swaddle you and go back to bed with daddy, but i wouldn’t want to be anywhere else at this moment 🥰

- 🔹 Here are some tips that may help you… -

1️⃣ EAT WITH NO DISTRACTIONS
- ∙ Eating while you’re watching tv or on your phone can cause you to overeat. Get rid of all distractions and concentrate on your meal. -

2️⃣ EAT FIBRE-RICH FOODS
- ∙ Add fibre-rich foods to your diet to keep yourself feeling satisfied for longer. Studies show this may help reduce the urge to overeat. Filling up on salads, beans, fruits & vegetables can help keep you satisfied for longer & reduce the urge to over eat.

3️⃣ DON’T SKIP MEALS
- ∙ Skipping meals may cause you to eat more later in the day. Instead, focus on keeping yourself feeling satisfied by eating balanced meals made with whole foods.

4️⃣ SWAP SUGARY DRINKS FOR WATER
- ∙ A review of 17 studies found that adults who drank sugar-sweetened beverages with meals consumed 7.8% more food than adults who consumed water with meals

5️⃣DON’T EAT OUT OF A CONTAINER
- ∙ Eating chips out of the bag, ice cream out of the carton or takeout straight from the box can lead you to eat more food than you need. Instead of eating food straight from the package, portion it into a dish. Try measuring out appropriate serving sizes to help train your eye to identify how much food is right for you. -

Today was NOT a good energy day, so we skipped the gym and I skipped day 3 of 100. I did get the new PiYo round in during class tonight though! The new round is pretty awesome. I definitely have to study it some more before the next class, but it was still a great workout!!! Tomorrow will be make up day though. Several treadmill tests, EKGs, ultrasounds, & meds later I got the ok from my cardiologist to hit high intensity workouts again.
It's been awhile 🤟
I'm learning as I go with AFib. It's tough being responsible when nothing really hurts & my body feels accustomed. It feels perfectly normal to me going at my rate, but I now know that I go at a much higher rate & my burn is different than everyone else's. I like it. I find it unique, but don't like the fact that it's essentially hurting me. My heart rate is now under control. My heart muscle is recovering. It feels like everything has slowed down & the intensity has lowered. It sucks, but oh well it's healthy 💪♂️

Between not training legs much at all the past month and taking a 2 week vacation (where I only trained 2x) I have felt in a bit of a slump lately.

I wasn’t feeling very motivated and my workouts felt forced. I just felt off my game altogether. After my leg workout yesterday and my back & core session today I felt SO much better. I finally feel back to my normal self.

Although I have DEFINITELY lost some muscle/strength, I feel motivated as ever. I know I’ll get back the muscle I lost with diet, supplements & training. 🙌🏽💪🏽 Sometimes you gotta take a step back to take two steps forward!

Between not training legs much at all the past month and taking a 2 week vacation (where I only trained 2x) I have felt in a bit of a slump lately.

I wasn’t feeling very motivated and my workouts felt forced. I just felt off my game altogether. After my leg workout yesterday and my back & core session today I felt SO much better. I finally feel back to my normal self.

Although I have DEFINITELY lost some muscle/strength, I feel motivated as ever. I know I’ll get back the muscle I lost with diet, supplements & training. 🙌🏽💪🏽 Sometimes you gotta take a step back to take two steps forward!

6.30am: wake up, cook, bath, eat
7.30am: go to gym
8.10am: arrived my gym and start workout
10am: finished workout and bath
