🔥FULL BODY HOME WORKOUT🔥

Although most people try and get most of their workouts done in the gym, life happens. We have deadlines, responsibilities, and other things that may not give us enough time to hit the gym. But that doesn't mean you still can't get a workout in!

NO EQUIPMENT: this is a great full body workout that does not require any equipment! Repeat the workout 2 to 3 times, and remember to stretch and cool down prior to and after the circuits.

SOME EQUIPMENT: A little more challenging in terms of load, but an incredible workout nonetheless. You will need some basic equipment like dumbbells and a functional staircase. Repeat this circuit twice, and again remember to warm up(before) and cool down(after) the circuits.

I have come a LONG way. And those of you who have been with me since the beginning know that I lost a LOT of weight very quickly at first, and since then, its been VERY hard! Lots of ups and downs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It has been 19 months since I started my weight loss journey. My wedding is in 11 days.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Am I where I want to be? No.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I where I thought I would be right now? No.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I proud of how far I have come despite my disappointment in where I am in my journey right now? yes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am always honest and real with you all and I am telling you right now, I am struggling.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In my mind I am no where near my thinnest going into my wedding, which is upsetting... but I also have to recognize that I am nowhere near the girl on the left either.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This journey is as real as it gets. There is no quick weight loss, there is no "now" diet. This is a life long battle. And I am fighting it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4 simple moves to tone that belly and slim that waist .
10-15 reps X 3 sets 
Questions asked by so many of you 
1. Can men do the workouts I post ?
And - yes you can . They are all gender neutral exercises 
2. What's my diet ?
Ans. High protein , low carb. One cheat meal a week. No artificial sugar or juices . Very little milk just for my tea. No suppliments , no protein shakes . No over indulging but also chilling with the diet once in a while . Eating less but not starving myself .

3. Can I lose weight 10kgs in 10 days, one month , 2 weeks
Ans. Yes of course you can , if you want to do  the unhealthy way . The weighing  scale is just a number and not an indicator of your health and fitness 
4. Can I get a body like yours ?
Ans. Why would you want a body like mine ? Find your individuality in fitness as well . Stop looking at people and wanting  to be like them. Be you and be proud .

Se nota que soy Valenciana y, como dicen por ahí, estamos locos con comer arroz en cualquiera de sus versiones! 😜


🔹50g de arroz integral hervido 🍚
🔹60g de mezcla de pimientos verdes y rojo 🌶️ salteados con AOVE
🔹60g de brócoli 🥦 al horno 🔹120g de pechuga de pollo 🍗 a la plancha


Para mi, ES UNA EXPLOSIÓN DE SABORES! 🤙 Si saltesmos un poco a la sartén el arroz y el pollo una vez cocinados los pimientos, estos cogen un sabor interesante 😋 además, el brócoli 🥦 al horno le da un toque de crujiente riquísimo! 🤩

MENTALLY SHIFT

Not gonna lie I’ve been having a hard time lately. School full time and serving/bartending full time has been wearing on me.

I found myself falling into the woe is me mindset. Let me tell you, if that’s where you’re at right now, no matter your circumstances, figure out how tf to change it.

Not only will falling for the trap of seeing yourself of a victim when your not rob you of making any kind of substantial progress in your life, you will be really damn miserable.

Because when you’re a victim, your fate is determined by someone or something else. And if you’ve turned yourself into a victim in your head when you’re not, then your life’s outcome will be determined by the direction the breeze blows.

Take initiative. Be really damn grateful that you’re alive. You woke up today. Everything else that you get to do is a plus.

You woke up. You’re already ahead for the day. See how much more you can do🤝

💪🏼😎 How To Get 6 Pack Abs Without Doing Endless Crunches 👉🏼 It’s kinda funny how one of the most in-demand fitness questions has a history of the most inaccurate answers, and that question is:

How Do I Get 6 Pack Abs?

The most common answer used to be that you had to do lots of crunches, situps, and ab machines to get a 6 pack, but that’s not entirely true.

Then over time, people started thinking that ‘abs are made in the kitchen’ which is also not entirely true.

So if neither training or diet is the actual answer, then what is?

It’s both, but only if done the right way.

The fact of the matter is that you can’t have a noteworthy 6 pack if you don’t build any muscle, since your abs will just look flat even with low body fat.

On the other hand, if you train your abs all day long but have too much body fat, no one will be able to see your abs.

So you gotta train hard and lose body fat to reveal your abs.

That said, how do you get a 6 pack without doing crunches?

A lot of fitness experts might disagree with me, but as long as you’re doing squats, deadlifts, bench press, rows, overhead press, and chin ups, you should be able to hit your abs well enough.

And once you get your diet and lose enough body fat over time, you’ll be able to reveal your abs which will have been built up from the heavy lifting I’m talking about.

Yes, you can do things like hanging leg raises and other exercises to train your abs directly.

It will probably speed up the process.

But you don’t have to spend all your time doing situps on your bedroom floor to get the 6 pack you’ve always wanted.

Just remember it will take a lot of time and effort.

Current shoulder regimen:

I’ve seen a lot more delt growth these last 3 months than my 4 years of training. Here’s what I’ve been doing differently:

Mind muscle connection. I didn’t realize it, but I use to never get any kind of MMC when training side delts specifically. It’s weird because of angles and limited mobility. 
Every shoulder session I start with that one intention in mind. Find that muscle in my head. The way I do this is simple. Normally a seated side raise machine cuz it’s easy but dumbbells will work too. Weight starts low. Real low. Range of motion is full. Tempo is excruciatingly slow. 6-8 second reps. Rest 30 seconds go up in weight and repeat until you can feel the blood in there

From there I’ll go do side raises or front raises. Heavy weight is used but only when I can feel the delt doing the weight. No traps. No hips. Delts. 
Almost always drop set a few times to get more out of it. But no matter what every set til failure. Pure intensity and you won’t need a lot of sets. I wish I had a before and after to show but I didn’t think that far ahead

Is cardio really that important? 
I get so sick of hearing people say it’s not important especially when it’s fitness professionals saying it.

Can you lose weight without it? Sure
Does it help you lose weight? For sure 
But most importantly it’s good for your heart health. With heart disease still being the number 1 killer in America why would you not want to prevent it and look good any way you can. This is a win win. 
Cardio is not just running, biking, swimming etc. Cardio is defined in the Cambridge dictionary as “Physical activity that gets increases the rate your heart works”. Quit skipping it and for the love of Jesus would my fitness professionals quit saying you don’t need cardio. It’s not all about how you look in an Instagram photo for most people. Most of want to live a long healthy and happy life. We also would like to look good during that long healthy life. 😁 *disclaimer... Don’t skip weight (resistance) training either. That is very important and can be on a separate rant.. lol.

¡RECETA DE LASAÑA DE CALABACÍN 🥒 Y POLLO DESHILACHADO 🍗! 🤩

¿Qué necesitamos para una ración grande?
🔹1/2 calabacín 🥒
🔹Tomate 🍅 frito casero con cebollita picada, sal, ajo en polvo y pimienta negra.
🔹120g de pechuga de pollo 🍗
🔹 80g de queso 🧀, yo he usado queso de cabra, pero podéis utilizar tipo cotagge, havariti o de vaca.

¿Cómo lo preparamos?
🔹Lavamos y cortamos el calabacín a lonchas finas y, luego, lo hervimos en agua durante unos 10-15', según veías que queda blandito.
🔹Hervimos la pechuga en agua para poder deshilacharla.
🔹Freímos el tomate 🍅 y de más vegetales hasta que esté listo, luego saltesmos la carne con la salsa unos minutos en la sartén.
🔹Mientras precalentamos el horno a 200°, engrasamos una bandeja con AOVE y colocamos la primera capa de calabacín y, encima, otra capa de pollo en salsa de tomate. ¡Realizaremos está acción hasta acabar con todos los ingredientes!
🔹Una vez acabamos con las capas, añadimos queso por encima y metemos al horno.
🔹Cocinamos en el horno durante 20' aproximadamente a 200° de temperatura, vigilando para que no se queme!

Hoy he decidido volver a los #BowlsConCosas y que mejor manera de estrenarlo que con yogur griego, frutos rojos (mis favoritos) y mix de semillas BIO de @lidlespana 🥣. Me gustan especialmente este tipo de semillas porque son muy versátiles! puedes usarlas tanto en dulce como en salado 🙌.
