🔥FULL BODY HOME WORKOUT🔥

Although most people try and get most of their workouts done in the gym, life happens. We have deadlines, responsibilities, and other things that may not give us enough time to hit the gym. But that doesn't mean you still can't get a workout in!

NO EQUIPMENT: this is a great full body workout that does not require any equipment! Repeat the workout 2 to 3 times, and remember to stretch and cool down prior to and after the circuits.

SOME EQUIPMENT: A little more challenging in terms of load, but an incredible workout nonetheless. You will need some basic equipment like dumbbells and a functional staircase. Repeat this circuit twice, and again remember to warm up(before) and cool down(after) the circuits.

Extremely Vulnerable Transformation Tuesday...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I have come a LONG way. And those of you who have been with me since the beginning know that I lost a LOT of weight very quickly at first, and since then, its been VERY hard! Lots of ups and downs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It has been 19 months since I started my weight loss journey. My wedding is in 11 days.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Am I where I want to be? No.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I where I thought I would be right now? No.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Am I proud of how far I have come despite my disappointment in where I am in my journey right now? yes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am always honest and real with you all and I am telling you right now, I am struggling.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In my mind I am no where near my thinnest going into my wedding, which is upsetting... but I also have to recognize that I am nowhere near the girl on the left either.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This journey is as real as it gets. There is no quick weight loss, there is no "now" diet. This is a life long battle. And I am fighting it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4 simple moves to tone that belly and slim that waist .
10-15 reps X 3 sets 
Questions asked by so many of you 
1. Can men do the workouts I post ?
And - yes you can . They are all gender neutral exercises 
2. What's my diet ?
Ans. High protein , low carb. One cheat meal a week. No artificial sugar or juices . Very little milk just for my tea. No suppliments , no protein shakes . No over indulging but also chilling with the diet once in a while . Eating less but not starving myself .

3. Can I lose weight 10kgs in 10 days, one month , 2 weeks
Ans. Yes of course you can , if you want to do  the unhealthy way . The weighing  scale is just a number and not an indicator of your health and fitness 
4. Can I get a body like yours ?
Ans. Why would you want a body like mine ? Find your individuality in fitness as well . Stop looking at people and wanting  to be like them. Be you and be proud .

It’s hard to believe the girl on the left was me exactly one year ago.

It’s hard to believe the girl on the left was me exactly one year ago.
You can literally see it in my eyes. I was so scared. Terrified. Skeptical. Unsure. Defeated. Doubtful. You see I had tried it all, I was the queen of quitting when things got hard or hectic. -

But what changed? A foundation of accountability, a glimmer of hope, and a coach who showed me what was possible! -

So I started pressing play on my workouts everyday like she did! I watched my portions and ate REAL food everyday, carbs included! It wasn’t pretty and it wasn’t easy but you can see it WORKED!

Why do I like this? Well, besides it looks so cool on the gram (don’t follow people who only post “cool” exercises please) but it allows to work your anterior serratus abs straight arm scapular strength which is great for shoulder health! This also is a killer for too core and stabilization...and what the he’ll is “core” anyways? For me it’s working your abs (duh), lower back, hips, and everything above an below. A strong “core” air quotes again will take your body and lifts to the next level! Here I’m using slide disks but this can also be done with a towel on a wood or smooth floor or paper plates. Crazy right?! Tag a friend, give this a shot, drop me a line, and be a good person!

Researchers decided to put  berries to the test. In a randomized clinical trial of powdered strawberries in patients with precancerous lesions in their oesophagus, subjects ate one to two ounces of freeze-dried strawberries every day for 6 months.

All of the study participants started out with either mild or moderate precancerous disease, but, amazingly, the progression of the disease was reversed  in about 80 percent of the patients in the high-dose strawberry group.

Most of these precancerous lesions either regressed from moderate to mild or disappeared entirely. .

Your metabolism in a nut shell is just the conversion of things that enter your body into energy for all of the processes that the body needs to do in order to continue existing. Breathing, breaking down food, repairing cells and all of the many thousands of reactions that take place within your squishy mass. The energy required to keep these things running is known as your basal metabolic rate. The body has to do these things and the energy it takes to do them is pretty standardised as it's basically just chemistry. The exact rate differs person to person but not nearly as much as you'd think. 
Interestingly muscle is very metabolically active, using alot of energy just existing. It also allows more activity to be done again creating a higher need for calories. This is what usually leads to massive differences in calories required between individuals. 
So build abit of muscle. 
Rather than slow metabolism, factors more likely to contribute to weight gain include:

Eating too many calories
Getting too little physical activity
Genetics and family history
Unhealthy habits, such as routinely not getting enough sleep

MENTALLY SHIFT

Not gonna lie I’ve been having a hard time lately. School full time and serving/bartending full time has been wearing on me.

I found myself falling into the woe is me mindset. Let me tell you, if that’s where you’re at right now, no matter your circumstances, figure out how tf to change it.

Not only will falling for the trap of seeing yourself of a victim when your not rob you of making any kind of substantial progress in your life, you will be really damn miserable.

Because when you’re a victim, your fate is determined by someone or something else. And if you’ve turned yourself into a victim in your head when you’re not, then your life’s outcome will be determined by the direction the breeze blows.

Take initiative. Be really damn grateful that you’re alive. You woke up today. Everything else that you get to do is a plus.

💪🏼😎 How To Get 6 Pack Abs Without Doing Endless Crunches 👉🏼 It’s kinda funny how one of the most in-demand fitness questions has a history of the most inaccurate answers, and that question is:

How Do I Get 6 Pack Abs?

The most common answer used to be that you had to do lots of crunches, situps, and ab machines to get a 6 pack, but that’s not entirely true.

Then over time, people started thinking that ‘abs are made in the kitchen’ which is also not entirely true.

So if neither training or diet is the actual answer, then what is?

It’s both, but only if done the right way.

The fact of the matter is that you can’t have a noteworthy 6 pack if you don’t build any muscle, since your abs will just look flat even with low body fat.

On the other hand, if you train your abs all day long but have too much body fat, no one will be able to see your abs.

So you gotta train hard and lose body fat to reveal your abs.

That said, how do you get a 6 pack without doing crunches?

A lot of fitness experts might disagree with me, but as long as you’re doing squats, deadlifts, bench press, rows, overhead press, and chin ups, you should be able to hit your abs well enough.

And once you get your diet and lose enough body fat over time, you’ll be able to reveal your abs which will have been built up from the heavy lifting I’m talking about.

Yes, you can do things like hanging leg raises and other exercises to train your abs directly.

It will probably speed up the process.

But you don’t have to spend all your time doing situps on your bedroom floor to get the 6 pack you’ve always wanted.

Just remember it will take a lot of time and effort.

Fortunately, I’ve written up a guide to help you get stronger and leaner without living in the gym or giving up your favorite foods so you can get the abs you want even faster.
