Today I was bummed bc I was planning to have a bomb a$$ leg day, but unfortunately duties called at work and stayed longer than I planned. Didn't get home 'til 8 and decided to just call it a night. Sometimes you gotta miss the gym, but if you aren't bummed about not getting your workout sesh in, you gotta fix that!

Granted, not EVERY single workout you will feel motivated to do, that's where discipline comes into play. But generally you should feel excited to train and push your body to the limit. Whether it's at home or at a gym it should be one of the highlights of your day, to get those endorphins flowing👍

Have the ability and opportunity to do the workouts your prefer is a blessing in its self, make it count👊

So about the only part of my workout that went decent was my tricep movements. Chest just didn't want to work today. 
I'm the last person to really try and tell anyone anything about their diet, but something I learned today was to EAT ENOUGH throughout the day so your body has the fuel to perform. I had very little to eat today and my body was not ready for this. .

So about the only part of my workout that went decent was my tricep movements. Chest just didn't want to work today.
I'm the last person to really try and tell anyone anything about their diet, but something I learned today was to EAT ENOUGH throughout the day so your body has the fuel to perform. I had very little to eat today and my body was not ready for this. .

Video 1: Make sure you are touching your chest! Ladies, if it is your first few times benching the bar, ask for a spot! For women, a good way to think of it is bring the bar down to the bottom of your sports bra.

Video 2: The only thing that should be moving is your arms! Your butt shouldn't come off of the bench. Also, your ankles shouldn't be moving. Start off with flat feet (more experienced lifters may push off their toes, but this is the basics lol)
°
Video 3: I am slow and controlled coming down and touching my chest. Even though it is a chest exercise, like any exercise, I am engaging my abs. If you feel the need to lift your butt, instead squeeze your glutes.
