A lot of the time, our issue is lack of PLANNING. We run after our goals full of HOPE but without slowing down for a sec to actually plan our week out.

Remember: hope is not a plan.

Success doesn’t happen accidentally.

If you’re finding yourself having big aspirations for what you WANT to do with your fitness goals but failing to follow through or see results, take time this weekend to PLAN for success in each area:

Workouts - WHEN are you going to workout? Schedule your workouts in — don’t just wait around for when you’re feeling motivated to do them! Schedule them like an appointment, and keep that appointment!

WATER - How are you going to keep yourself accountable to drinking water? I HIGHLY recommend getting a BIG water bottle (1L+) and keeping it next to you ALL day. Create the habit of taking sips every 15-20 minutes!

NUTRITION - How are you going to make healthy eating EASY for you this week? Meal prepping? Frozen meals?

WHAT’S THE PLAN? Waiting for each day to come and deciding what to eat in the moment is a sure fire way to FAIL. If you don’t have a plan for nutrition, it will NOT go well this week - I guarantee it! Take the time to plan your meals and snacks out for this upcoming week, and your nutrition will be SO much more on point!

Ich werde jetzt noch ein wenig an einem Projekt arbeiten, dass ich eigentlich schon vor 2 Wochen fertig haben wollte & dann noch lernen & heute Abend zum crossfit🙈

Never felt this good about my hamstrings before. When you work legs and get that "X" shape you just feel more confident.
These deficit deadlifts are killer and I'm sure to keep doing them .

I remember during #theopen 2018 people got smacked with the move.ent standard for HSPUs and lots of people were no repped because of this. If you practice doing the movement correctly, sot only its is STRONGER and MORE STABLE, but it will also easily achieve this standard.

One of my quick go-to’s to get a sweat going at the gym. If I need the challenge, i go lighter on my TGUs and go for a “bottoms up”. Proper form is imperative to completing this workout at a decent speed. .

#wwambassador A very small glimpse into this mornings @campgladiator workout. 💪🏼 Today was hard. I got my booty kicked on Monday and I’m still super sore. It was a beautiful morning to be outside and sling some weights though. I started using some 25 pounds out there today. So mixing them up with my 20s. Still rehabbing my foot but that doesn’t mean I can’t still move my body and do things that make me feel good and strong. On a side note to myself - I need to find a better way/place to prop my phone up. Videoing on an upward angle is never typically flattering for anyone lol. 😂 Also wondering if the other campers next to me were like - What the heck is Patty doing? 🤔 Hoping one day to use these videos as befores! 🙌🏼 Girls got some goals over here!

Saw @marclobliner doing some of these rows the other day. Decided to give them a go. It aint no 300 lbs but 195 lbs after 12 sets of pull downs and rows, shitttt. These felt nice though. I do want to work on tighter form and less swing but itll get there! Thanks for sharing Marc! Always a fan

I had a consultation this week which included an analysis of a food diary. This is a sure fire way to get to the bottom of issues regarding weight management (if they are honest!)

Now this person, who knows I’m doing this but of course won’t be named has had fat loss problems, namely no progression at all and often weight gain
🤔
On inspection I could see immediately where the issue was...they were drinking too many of their calories
-
It’s doesn’t matter that the lattes were skinny, 3 of them adds up
-
Smoothies are not so “super” when they contain 430 kcal and...
-
Those two wines every single evening aren’t free 😏, plus alcohol can have a negative impact on sleep 💤 -
This was done pretty much Monday through Friday -
I highlighted to them what they were consuming in calories using McDonald’s as an example and they were quite shocked 😮

However, this is the joy of nutritional consultations. We can get to the bottom of numerous issues and set actionable targets in place going forwards

What did we do?
-
Well, step 1 👉🏻 keep one of the lattes, but replace the other two with an Americano, splash of milk and a sweetener and a decaf tea. It was highlighted that sleep was a problem, so cutting down caffeine in the afternoon was a must

That saved 216 kcal per day and 1080 across a 5 day week

Step 2 👉🏻 remove the super smoothie and replace it with a Ribena light and encourage more water to be consumed by infusing some lemon 🍋 and lime into it

That saved 404 kcal per day and 2020 across a 5 day week

Step 3 👉🏻 we agreed to limit wine in the week to 2 glasses on a Wednesday saving 960 kcal across the 5 day week

What we then discussed is how we could, whilst ensuring a calorie deficit across the 7 day week, use some of those saved calories to increase satiety in other meals and then save some calories for higher calorie days at the weekend, which included a little more alcohol on Saturday

Targets set. Very actionable. Happy client

Yeah some sacrifices have to be made, but if they are so small you barely notice them and they benefit your body composition, sleep and wellbeing it’s worthwhile
