10 months ago my body used to fill in that entire shirt.

In 10 months I’ve lost 132 lbs and 67 inches off my body with the help of bariatric surgery, calorie/macro tracking, and weight training.

But I haven’t just dropped pounds and inches, I’ve dropped that bullshit mentality. I’m ridding myself of those mental restraints that have always held me back. I’m learning to quiet that voice inside my head constantly telling me that I can’t... That I will never be enough...That I will never amount to anything... I’m freeing myself of insecurities and self doubt.

I spent so much time just existing, but now I am thriving. I’ve given myself the ability to live freely and intently as myself. So free yourself from your restraints, and allow yourself the opportunity to flourish.

Energy is the currency of the universe. When you pay attention to something, you buy the experience. So when you allow your consciousness to focus on something or someone that annoys you, you feed your energy and it reciprocates the experience of being annoyed. Be selective in your focus because your attention feeds the energy of it and keeps it alive. Not just within you, but in collective consciousness as well.
That will help you out, honestly I had to ignore lot of things to get focused on my weight loss journey. I always made short term goals and reacted accordingly! Many can react and break their goals..you have to decide to stay or not. It matters

Give this 1990s Bodybuilding workout a whirl and you'll make your friends shut up and lift! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

ACTIVATE- Your Lats are Spinal Stabilizers, the largest in your body! So what better way to activate them then Deadlifts? Be sure to hide your armpits with your arms to keep those lats engaged and use a 3030 Tempo here. That's 3 seconds up and 3 down lifters!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
RECRUIT-  You should be feeling those lats now! Time to make them CONTRACT hard with some chin-ups. If you cant get these reps done without assistance use a band or machine for some help! If you don't have those you can rock some Lat Pull Downs.  Use a 50X0 tempo here. That's 5 seconds as your arm lengthens and be explosive as you pull! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

STRETCH- Now its time to stretch out your back wings! Keep the weight moderate here so you can extend your arms safely when the weight is in the bottom position. Tempo here is 2-2-2-2, that means 2 seconds up, 2 second hold, 2 second lower and 2 seconds at the bottom before you pull again. This will allow significant time under load in a stretched position!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Motivation is what gets you started, discipline is what keeps you going 💪🏼👊🏼💥 It took 12 weeks of hard work & consistency from my once client now friend Rebecca to achieve this amazing result in time for her holiday.

Results like this don’t happen over night. I am not a fairy god mother, I can’t give you miracles BUT what I CAN give you is all of the tools you need to achieve the body of your dreams but it’s down to you if you want to follow the instructions 
You need a certain mind set to achieve a result like this, you need to be disciplined, motivated, patient and strong willed. Results like this are achieved through taking a no excuses approach! Being 100% consistent day in day out with everything.. your diet, your training, your cardio etc ticking the boxes and leaving no stone unturned even on weekends.  Rebecca is ran off her feet daily with two children, she could have used various occasions or excuses as to why she never or couldn’t stick to the plan.. but she never.. not ONCE

16 pounds difference from the first photo to today. Love seeing this progress. These are OG American Eagle circa like 2007 😂 size 12’s with absolutely ZERO stretch. They’ve become my goal shorts over time. They button, but they’re tight. I’ll throw that picture up too for later comparison. I think next month these babies will fit perfect. It’s too bad it’ll be November and too damn cold to wear.

what exactly does the 80/20 rule mean? Let’s break it down:

It means that you don’t have to cook every meal at home.it’s way easier to follow a 100% healthy diet when cooking your own meals.Cooking at homes means you know exactly what goes in your food—how much oil, butter, how many carbs, etc.And it’s about a thousand times easier to figure out your portion sizes as well.

But still who doesn't enjoy eating out? We indulge in our guilty pleasures of eating out because the new amazing restaurants keep on coming up and the taste and CONVINIENCE is too good to be ignored. But we work hard to earn this meal so the 80/20 rule actually applies to us not overeating. It applies to sugars, we should limit sugar as much a possible while we can still have fun with other calorie controlled food.

what exactly does the 80/20 rule mean? Let’s break it down:

It means that you don’t have to cook every meal at home.it’s way easier to follow a 100% healthy diet when cooking your own meals.Cooking at homes means you know exactly what goes in your food—how much oil, butter, how many carbs, etc.And it’s about a thousand times easier to figure out your portion sizes as well.

But still who doesn't enjoy eating out? We indulge in our guilty pleasures of eating out because the new amazing restaurants keep on coming up and the taste and CONVINIENCE is too good to be ignored. But we work hard to earn this meal so the 80/20 rule actually applies to us not overeating. It applies to sugars, we should limit sugar as much a possible while we can still have fun with other calorie controlled food.

On Saturday, I did legs and did 5 minutes of the stair master. Today, I am thinking about just doing cardio today. I seen a sign outside of my local gym and it was another 5K race, I feel like I am missing out😭😏. When the time is right, I’ll do it.
