All I take from this journey are the moments of victories and accomplishments. I don't think about the bad days although I KNOW there were some and there will continue to be some.... these moments of feeling accomplished trump any of those days that I thought I was giving something up or that it was too hard. I'll never be able to properly express how happy and proud I am for taking the step to be HEALTHIER. Because that decision changed my whole life. ⁣ ⁣. Merry Xmas eve and Happy transformationtuesday ⁣

Make sure your form is textbook perfect.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And then — it’s gonna shock you — just add weight.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just a little more work each time. A little more weight, or a few more reps at the same weight (then add weight the next week for sure)⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

That’s it. Start light, add weight slowly, but never at the expense of your form. Your body will eventually be challenged, and while you’re away from the gym, it will adapt at the nervous (use current muscle better) and muscular systems (add muscle) so you get stronger.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Nutrition labels can be off by as much as 20%-30%

You think it has 300cals, but it has 390cals

The more ingredients, the greater chances of its calories being off

KEEPING IT SIMPLE STUPID💋-the less likely you are to add extra calories

Losing body fat is hard, u going to have to restrict food 1way or the other
_
Everyone loses weight at different rates & adapts differently to both diet & exercise 
_
If your GOAL is fat loss, then ride the wave of consistency
_
Getting lean is a mental game, once you win the mind, you’ve won the game
_
Accept the realities of dieting & what it comes with it. It’s HARD

You’ll get hungry, & you won’t always feel your best

A major reason why diets fail is people can’t handle the hunger. No hunger, no leanness

It’s how you manage hunger with your food choices is what wins the game

Failing to prepare & plan ahead is preparing to fail

You have to adopt the mindset of being in the zone & doing what it takes

Sometimes you won’t look better, you’ll look depleted, flat, soft & even worse

You may feel like you getting fat even though you 💯% with your diet

💪🏻glycogen, intramuscular fat stores get depleted &💧retention is high

Even though you losing fat, it’s not at the rate of other substrates masking fat loss. Keep going

DONT stress/overthink/overanalyze things

Feeling hunger is usually the reason why people ruin their diets. The reason for feeling the hunger might be because of already not having a proper diet, but it has other influences too. You can see some of them above.

Avocados 🥑 sometimes get a bad rap because they have a lot of fat. Seems counterintuitive if you're trying to reduce fat! But they actually have good fat that helps slow your hunger, promote heart health, and reduce overall fat on your body.⁣⁣

Sweet potatoes 🍠 are considered one of the worlds healthiest foods because they have antioxidants and anti inflammatories that help our digestion and processing of foods.⁣⁣

Bananas 🍌 are rich in potassium and have helped me with bloating. They also are dense and keep me full.⁣⁣

Spinach 🌱 is high in vitamins and nutrients and helps to increase iron as well as fiber!⁣⁣

Beets ❤️ lower blood pressure, are anti-cancer, and boost your energy! Especially great on those workout days.⁣⁣

I decided to try to lighten it up, and made my own with a veggie burger patty. It was so good! I can only imagine how good it would be with real beef. -  Stay hydrated (super basic and it feels dumb saying this but it is actually a problem for most people)
-  Find ANY way to get active. Doesn’t have to be the gym. It doesn’t have to be a workout. Move some in some fashion.
-  Prioritise more than 6 hours of sleep a night and cap it at 8 hours.
-  If you wish to change your body composition, pay attention to your food. It doesn’t have to be full blown tracking but having some idea of what you are eating and how you are structuring things will help.
-  Get some sunlight. Seriously. There are many Australians who miss out on this and run the risk of becoming deficient. 50nmol/l is the low end of that standard of 25 hydroxyvitamin D and there is some evidence showing that up to 75nmol/L is better. 15 – 30 minutes of direct exposure a day. Space this out so you reduce the chance of burning and expose more skin for more contact.

@tnt_fitness1 I totally agree! Many people think that the training in the gym is hard.. while it does require alot of dedication and effort, this is the easy part for me. 
The hard bit is constantly fighting my cravings for the remaining 22 hours of my day. Preparing meals that.. lets be honest.. don't taste as good as some of the unhealthier alternatives. A happier life involves eating satisfying and indulging food!

With this being a lifestyle change, you have to do what works for you, therefore finding a good balance/diet (and some new recipes 😉) requires a level of focus in this plan.

I never really understood the importance of taking vitamins on a daily basis, and why it’s so beneficial to my health & fat loss journey.

I always heard different things, but never really had any interest in taking them.

I have learned how my body reacts when I take a daily nutrient packet every day, and how it reacts when I don’t.

When I’m taking it daily (which I don’t skip a day) the main thing I notice is how I feel overall.

It’s nothing crazy, but I don’t feel as sluggish, and I have also not gotten sick in the past year which is HUGE for me.

I didn’t realize how much of an impact taking care of your gut with vitamins and minerals really had on your overall immune system and daily function.

It’s not the sexiest thing to show off, but it sure as hell makes me feel sexy on the outside and inside I’ll tell you that much!

Believe me when I say I had a hard time believing in vitamins, but the minute I finally decided to take care of my body & started to feel amazing, it makes me never want to go back to my old ways.
