Okay, first, let’s get something straight:
-
A fat loss meal isn’t some meal full of foods with special fat loss effects — those don’t exist.
-
What it is, is a meal combining high protein, nutrient density, and that comes out relatively low in calories.
-
It’s also gotta taste good.
-
Protein and vegetables is pretty non-negotiable.
-
Most of the plate should be covered by a protein source and veggies.
-
Healthy fats, but only a little to keep calories in check, just to satisfy health needs, should be included. A thumbs size worth or a tbsp works. Oils like olive or coconut oil, butter, or even some avocado can work.
-
Taste can be improved by a low calorie dressing, balsamic, lemon juice, something you can think of but I missed, and of course, spices.
-
And the starches is kinda whatever you have room left for. Totally optional and the leaner you are and leaner you’re aiming to get, the less room you’ll have for it.
-
Cook time: 10 minutes-ish
-
You can easily hit 30-60 grams of protein while keeping calories below 500 if you need.
-
This type of meal can help you keep the fat burning process going no matter where you are in the process.

I ended up making it into my goal outfit just in time for my birthday today!!! I remember when I first put this on and thinking this will never fit again, and now 8.5 months later it fits! I felt pretty and confident for my birthday! 😍

I also wanted to get to 90kgs by my birthday and I’m 90.5kgs! So taking that as a win!!! Photo with my beautiful niece!

Edit to add my start weight was 151.2kgs (333lb). 60.7kgs loss (133lb).

I worked so hard to look my best for the #slimmeroftheyear weekend and after it was all over, felt a little routine relaxation was deserved!
So I did, seriously relax, indulge, carb load and generally stuff my face 🤦🏽♀️🤪! But it’s been a week now and I’m finding my body heavy and sluggish, my mind less focused and my moods all over the shop and it reminds me of how I used to feel carrying all that extra weight! I don’t like it!!! So fitnessgirl is back and ready to find my balance again!

{2 Rounds} - Today I’m 34, and feel so grateful, blessed, and most importantly happy. Here are my results from two rounds of #fwtfl. I’ve successfully reversed pre-diabetes, went down a pant size and shirt size, gained confidence in my skills/abilities that I’ve never known before, and have had SO many non-scale victories! I really need to count them up. A HUGE shoutout to @amandatress for creating THE best Fat Loss program on the market, hands down.

Before starting, I honestly just resigned myself to the shape I was and how I felt. To change it all was going to be too much work that I had zero interest in doing (not a fan of exercising or restricting food - don’t take food away from me). I followed Amanda for a long time, before she even created FWTFL, but it all sounded too scary to me - until enough was enough. I hated how I looked and felt, and my health was in terrible shape. I’m SO incredibly happy I took the step of faith and trusted this process! My biggest regret is that I didn’t sign up sooner! Please please please, if you’ve been interested in this program, don’t wait as long as I did! There is a sustainable way to gain back so much of your life with this program. I am an affiliate because THIS WORKS and there are no insane workouts, pills, wraps, or required shakes to buy. These results have been accomplished despite a 2-3 weeks lung infection, 3 holidays that revolve around food (🎃🦃🎄), a bad back for a week, breastfeeding (so my low carb days weren’t so low carb and my workouts were low impact), a few days were I ignored macro counting, and I enjoyed treats on my leg day (🍷🍩🍦).

In 1 week I dropped from 69.8kg to 67.9kg, also pretty hyped to know some people are still committed to the program! Let’s crush it together, let’s go for week 2 👊🏼

For aggressive fat loss I like to fast from 16 to 20 hours and fit my macros in only 2 big meals during my feast window, that way I turn my body into a fat burning machine throughout the day even if I didn’t workout.

5 Tips to Supercharge up your metabolism 🔥‬

Also another big part of managing stress is allowing yourself time for activities where you can practice mindfulness (walking, yoga, meditation)

🌿100g/ 3,5oz cheddar cheese, grated⁠
🌿450g/ 1lb shrimp, deveined and tails removed⁠
🌿1 tsp ground paprika⁠
🌿1 tsp garlic powder or one pressed garlic⁠
🌿1/2 tsp dried oregano⁠
🌿1 tsp ground cumin⁠
🌿1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or chili flakes⁠

🌿2 tbsp olive oil⁠
For cilantro sauce⁠
🌿230g/ 1 cup sour cream⁠
🌿3 tbsp fresh cilantro, minced⁠
🌿1 tsp lime zest⁠
🌿1/4 tsp salt⁠
🌿1 tbsp lime juice⁠
🌿150g/ 1 1/2 cup Chinese cabbage⁠

For the taco shells:⁠
1. Preheat oven to 400F200C. Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper or silicone mat.⁠
2. Wrap the handle of a wooden spoon with aluminum foil. Balance between two tall glasses.⁠
3. Spread cheddar cheese on the prepared baking sheet into a circle shape.⁠
4. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese melts and is lightly brown, 5-7 minutes.⁠
5. Cool for 2-3 minutes, lift with a spatula and drape over the wrapped wooden handle.⁠
6. Cool until set, about 5 minutes.⁠

This MANDATORY deficit can be created via training, nutrition, or for optimum results - a combination of the two...but you still need to be in a CALORIE DEFICIT in order to lose ANY signifcant weight/fat!

And NEWSFLASH, you do NOT have to be miserable (like the above fad diet requires) in order to be in a caloric deficit! Yep, you can still enjoy ALL the foods which bring you joy

It's just a matter of learning the SCIENCE involved and then remaining consistent and patient long enough for real results to happen.

I ended up making it into my goal outfit just in time for my birthday today!!! I remember when I first put this on and thinking this will never fit again, and now 8.5 months later it fits! I felt pretty and confident for my birthday! 😍

I also wanted to get to 90kgs by my birthday and I’m 90.5kgs! So taking that as a win!!! Photo with my beautiful niece!

Edit to add my start weight was 151.2kgs (333lb). 60.7kgs loss (133lb).
