Yes! Absolutely yes! When you are building muscle, it requires extra calories to be able to pack on a significant amount of muscle. But that doesn’t mean you can just eat a whole pizza or go crazy with fast foods and expect that's good nutrition for growing muscle. What you put in your body directly correlates with what fitness goals you will achieve, or not achieve. You need good quality food, timed well, with training. You can't just eat junk to get the calories for building muscle. You also can't cut out fat and carbs and still expect to build and maintain any new muscle. You need balanced nutrients, vitamins, and more to be able to maintain a healthy and stable body! So remember, just because your goal is to build muscle, doesn’t mean you can eat whatever you want. You still have to eat clean (healthy food can taste good too if made right). .

But that doesn’t mean you can just eat a whole pizza or go crazy with fast foods and expect that's good nutrition for growing muscle. First final of the semester has been taken☑️ and I hit a pretty good Glute and Hamstring focused workout earlier (will be down below👇). Took my cotton candy @pescience high volume (discount code “SARA”) before for the pump, I talk about it on my page quite a bit bc it’s one of my faves, especially when I want some preworkout without caffeine (perfect for later of it you’ve already had quite a bit of caffeine for the day) ~

Not only will this fill you up first thing, it will reduce your cravings throughout the first few hours of the day. Make sure it's something that will actually fill you too! Treat breakfast as a morning MEAL not a morning SNACK you rifle through in a rush to get out the door. ⁣

Once you've done this, space your meals around when you had it. Usually about 3-4 hours after realistically.⁣

2. Stop using so much "premade"⁣
I'm not saying premade foods are bad, they just encourage waste, or boredom eating. I find if I put effort into preparing a meal, I'm more likely to eat it when I'm supposed to, rather than when I get a craving.⁣

Sometimes it's the simple things that make the most difference.
Take a look at how we chose to donate some of our used gym equipment to the NHS at Heavitree Hospital so they can use it to help those living with a range of pulmonary health issues, and also those recovering from surgery.

It is awesome to know that our decision to donate this kit, instead of sell elsewhere, will be impacting so positively on peoples' lives long after the equipment has left us.

As a local independent business, we will always think of how best we can impact the community around us. After all, it's our community that keeps us running!
