This is 200. I’ve been trying to hit this weight for a couple months now. Glad I got there but excited to revisit a more stringent meal plan!

#flashback to yesterday’s #legday this is how a typical leg day goes for me. I like to focus mainly on building and training my glutes🍑 and hammies, instead of my quads and doing squats til I die☠️😅 and in the past few weeks since changing up my workouts to focus on them, I’ve seen a bigger difference in my body in the past few weeks than the past like 6 months, who knew 🤷🏼‍♀️ Yesterday’s workout consisted of:
1️⃣ warm up sprints on the treadmill for 5 minuets
2️⃣ Squats: using the land mine (remember to squeeze your bum!) 3 sets of 12-20 reps lightweight 
3️⃣ Hamstring curls: 3 sets of 10-15 reps
4️⃣ Cable pull through: squeeze at the top 
3 sets of 12-20 reps
5️⃣ Lunges: using the TRX band
3 sets of 10-15 reps each leg 
6️⃣ Strait leg deadlift: 4 sets of 10-15 reps
7️⃣ Hip thrusts: 3 sets of 12-20 reps 
8️⃣ Glute kick backs: I like using a resistance band 3 sets 12-20 reps each leg
9️⃣ Finish up the workout with cardio, I did 30 minuets on the treadmill
Remember to rest between sets!

I got my meal prep done for the week last night. I made brown rice, broccoli, and chicken breasts marinated and seasoned with soy sauce, onion powder, and Asian five spice powder. I'm behind with posts and still need to post my workouts from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'll be catching up in the next couple days.

So, I've been pretty upset with my waking weight the past few mornings. I've been weighing 188 lbs. which is WAY too low. I never even wanted my weight to drop below 195 lbs. during my cutting cycle, but it was fluctuating between 192 and 195 lbs. However, I was 194 lbs. on Saturday night before bed but somehow lost 6 lbs. overnight. Today is the beginning of week 15 of what's supposed a 16-week cutting cycle. That means I've lost 22 lbs. within just under 15 weeks. I'm not trying to lose that much weight. I'm trying to maintain weight while cutting bodyfat. So, I'm upset that I've lost this much weight and it feels like I've lost years worth of progress. Maybe that's all in my head. I'm eventually going to have to get my weight back up to 200-205 lbs. for my upcoming competitions while still maintaining a low bodyfat percentage. Trying to get my ideal contest body composition is probably my greatest challenge.

I've also been listening to my body a lot lately, especially last week. My body is telling me that it's time for a 10-day deconditioning period. I was planning to do a 10-day deconditioning period at the end of my cutting cycle. Since it's week 15 of my cutting cycle, it seems appropriate to start my deconditioning period. Whenever I do a deconditioning period, I stop working out the major muscle groups for 10 days and focus only on cardio and what I like to call "auxiliary muscles." So here are a few things I've eaten during this cutting cycle. Yesterday, I spent the day with my aunt, uncle, and grandma. We went out to Five Guys for lunch. Five Guys does lettuce wraps instead of burger buns. It's pretty cool. They layer the more rounded lettuce leaves on top and layer the flatter lettuce leaves on the bottom. I've been craving a juicy burger for so long, but I haven't had one since I would have to take it off the buns. This lettuce wrap burger solves that problem. It was very delicious. I will get one of their burgers as a lettuce wrap again. I'm also still eating my peanut butter and fruit wraps with unsweetened natural peanut butter, but I decided to switch it up lately and cut up some black grapes instead of the usual strawberries. I think I like the peanut butter fruit wraps with grapes more than strawberries.

4 months into #fitnesslife and I have to say,  Im #feelingmyself.  May 2019 I woke up tired of being #skinnyfat . 
I made a decision to #committofit .  Always being a skinny guy, spending most of my adult life at 5’10 150#. My initial focus was on #bulking adding 25#. I began to really enjoy the added size but decided to clean it up.  I started the #cuttingcycle 3 weeks ago and again very happy with the progress. 
I have 3 more weeks on this cut then plan to finish the winter packing on more mass.

Got them arms looking lean af, and horseshoes in both...I love arm days, but honestly not my favorite anymore. I used to train arms like 2-3 times a week back when I first started, and then I realized that for them to grow I gotta cut it back..that’s when I realized to actually get to my goals I would have to trim every muscle group, not just the ones I figured would be most appealing to me.
