I’m just starting to feel like myself again after taking a very long break from consistently working out. My energy was low, my self esteem was going downhill and I just felt like I wasn’t as productive as I could be. It’s so funny to me that adding 3 practices a week, 9 hours of extra driving time, and the commitment of being on an elite team has me feeling more organized than before. Luckily I also had @dropboxing_to to make me sweat, but I’m so happy to be back on a rigid workout schedule. World’s Becca will be back before she knows it! 🙊

after three days in baltimore and now on day two of four in new york city 🍎, i’m feeling it all catching up with me so dont mind me if the next time im on stories and im all 🥴 im in rare form this week but having the best time and just enjoying myself and the craziness (but also excitement) of the city! i’ll be sharing more about what i’ve been doing later today 👀 #fitstrongshann .

GF/VEGAN COFFEE PROTEIN CAULI OATS 🥣:
in a pot, mix together the following ingredients,
- 1/2c (or more) of frozen rice cauliflower - 1/2c gf oats (i prefer rolled and quick)
- 1/3c almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice)
- splash of vanilla
- 1Tbsp chopped walnuts (optional, i like crunch)
- sea salt
mix all together then put on stovetop on medium heat, stirring consistently with a spatula (key!!!) and adding the water/liquid as needed. once thick and combined, add the following on low heat: - 1/2Tbsp vegan butter (optional, but i highly recommend and ghee/regular butter work)
- 1-2 scoops coffee @nuzest_usa protein (use fitstrongshann for a discount)
stir until all combined and let cook for a few minutes. then plate, top and enjoy!!!

Spaghetti Stuffed Zucchini Boats 👌🏻 One of my go to dinners. I love making zucchini boats- taco stuffed, pizza stuffed, and now spaghetti stuffed! -

I have a really bad memory (like realllly bad 😅) but one of the perks of that is I always think the meal I’m eating now is the best it’s ever been😂 Always gotta look on the bright side 😉 So in my personal opinion, these are the best zucchini boats ever 😎 I’ve really been on a marinara sauce kick lately- is that even a thing? 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I’ve been making lots of pizza and spaghetti dishes! Thankful this made enough for leftovers. We’re hopefully going to play some night tennis later 🎾 We’re super competitive which always makes things interesting 😅 Hope you guys had a good Monday! -

#recipe details 👉🏻 Preheat oven to 400F 
Take 4 zucchini and cut in 1/2. Take a spoon and scoop out the middle and add to a bowl, you’ll use it later on. Grease a baking pan and add the zucchini to them. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes. 
While the zucchini cook, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add: 
1 diced onion and 1 lb ground beef (I used @butcher_box) with a little bit of oil. Season with 1 tsp garlic and 1 tsp Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, making sure to break up the beef. 
Add in the zucchini middle part when the meat is almost done and mix it in there. 
Then add in 1 cup marinara (Used @aldiusa Sauce) 
When the zucchini are done, remove and add the mixture into the middle part. Top with some cheese (I used feta) and bake 10 more minutes. Enjoy!

BIG CONFESSION TIME, I ate absolutely HORRIBLY this weekend. Fast food, pizza, baked goods, you name it! Though I had fun going & getting these foods with friends friends & satisfying these cravings, my body felt awful by the time Sunday rolled around (which I expected). Just wanted to keep it real with everyone, we’re all human! We all fall off the tracks a little bit now & then. Went back to my regular eating habits & I already feel so much better. Treat yourself, but listen to your body!

🔺1 cta. de polvo de hornear
🔺1 cda. de queso crema descremado
🔺2 cdas. de aceite de oliva
🔺queso magro en hebras (4 cdas)
🔺3 cdas. de leche descremada
🔺Semillas (utilice 1 cda. de sésamo integral, 1 cda. de Lino y 1 cda. de chía)
🔺agua (ir probando de a chorritos)
🔺1/2 cta. de sal

Preparación:
🔺Mezclar todos los ingredientes secos
🔺Agregar los húmedos e integrar hasta obtener una masa
🔺Tomar de a bollitos y darle la forma de scon
🔺Hornear hasta que doren

Someone new to my friend's list asked me if I train people to lose weight. I said yes and asked what made them ask? They said the could tell by going on my personal page. After that conversation I really took a moment to think. I have been a fitness professional since 2013. Strength training is great, whether it’s body weight exercises or hitting some weights in the gym. This will be the best form of exercise for shaping your body and building more muscle, which in turn will help speed up your metabolism.⠀

🏃‍♀️ (2) Let’s talk cardio:⠀
Cardio is also great for your health but there’s no need to overdo it! If your goal is fat loss, eating in a moderate calorie deficit, strength training and some cardio mixed in will be the perfect combo to hit your goal. So unless you’re training for a sport or just love this form of exercise, I urge you to not spend endless hours on the elliptical (I’ve definitely made this mistake in college)⠀

🍳 (3) Let’’s talk smart food choices:⠀
If most of your nutrition consists of whole foods instead of heavily processed junk food not only will you feel better but you’ll most likely end up eating less calories than a day filled with junk food. Packing on tons of veggies to your meals will also help you feel like you’re eating more while still losing weight. Tracking calories and/or macros for a period of time can also be a helpful tool for gauging portion size.⠀

This is the easiest, most delicious super super healthy meal (chock full of Omega-3s!!). I popped this in the oven when I got back from working out and it was ready to go when I got out of the shower! •••••• To prep this one pan dinner, coat everything in olive oil spray and s&p, garlic and onion powder, and throw some lemon juice and dill on the salmon. Easy Insta-Pot Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients:

1 lb of chicken breast
1 package of frozen vegetables
1 cubed white potato
1 cup of chopped white onion
32 oz of low sodium chicken stock
3 tablespoons of corn starch
3 tablespoons of milk
3/4 tsp of poultry seasoning
1 package of 8 Annie’s Flaky biscuits

Cube chicken breast and season with salt and poultry seasoning. Spray your insta pot with cooking spray.  Saute onion until translucent.  Add chicken breast and brown on both sides.  Hit cancel on the insta pot. Place potato, frozen vegetables and chicken stock in insta-pot.  Secure lid on insta pot and set pressure valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes.  Release pressure. 
While pressure is releasing cook biscuits according to package directions.

Mix corn starch with warm milk until well blended. 
Set insta pot to saute, stir in corn starch mixture and wisk until sauce thickens. 
Pour cooked chicken mixture into a serving dish or pie pan, top with cooked biscuits and serve immediately. .

One of the tastiest things I’ve had put in my mouth EVER😋 High Raw peanut butter chocolate cheesecake from @pomegranatecafephx this was the last thing I ate before my #soildfoodvacation The cheesecake is furthest I get from my lifestyle. Cashews are not fully raw. Cashews must be processed at a high temperature or they are poisonous. I only indulge in them on occasion. I also stay away from high fat and oils as much as possible

Many raw vegans incorporate “gray area” enhancements such as nutritional yeast, maple syrup or even an occasional cooked vegan meal in their regular meal plans. I used to judge this, but that was a sign for inner work to be done. I am so grateful for everyone who is in this lifestyle and all I ask for in life is transparency. Especially when you are influencing others, JUST KEEP IT REAL .

One of the tastiest things I’ve had put in my mouth EVER😋 High Raw peanut butter chocolate cheesecake from @pomegranatecafephx this was the last thing I ate before my #soildfoodvacation The cheesecake is furthest I get from my lifestyle. Cashews are not fully raw. Cashews must be processed at a high temperature or they are poisonous. I only indulge in them on occasion. I also stay away from high fat and oils as much as possible

Many raw vegans incorporate “gray area” enhancements such as nutritional yeast, maple syrup or even an occasional cooked vegan meal in their regular meal plans. I used to judge this, but that was a sign for inner work to be done. I am so grateful for everyone who is in this lifestyle and all I ask for in life is transparency. Especially when you are influencing others, JUST KEEP IT REAL .

I love the veggies from this kid at the market. The lettuce is as beautiful as a bouquet of flowers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The rainbow carrots are delicious. I have developed a deep love of the purple carrots. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As much as I love shopping at the farmer's market I can never quite eat the variety of foods I need for optimal health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not to mention having an autoimmune condition and candida means my gut health isn't what it should be. As a result I don't absorb nutrients properly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
