CHEST DAY // Soooo I went into the gym pumped to try and get a pr on my DB press & then I crushed my finger warming up 😩. I thought I actually broke it. I went to rack my weight, slipped & crushed it in under the weight & on the racks sooo my dreams of pr-ing were ruined lol. I had a hard time gripping things but I did what I could 😅. I’m definitely going to be more careful after that 🙈. .

Friday workouts are for #ArmDay right?

Yeah... that is not how we do things over here at #BKOFitness
.
Instead of working on baby muscle groups, we like to work on our hard, stubborn and larger muscle
groups on Friday’s.
.
Why?
.
Because Friday is usually the day everyone is on the “I’m so tired” mood, or the “let’s go easy” mood.
.
I refuse to ever be in that type of bitch ass mood.
.
I always try to make the hardest days at the gym the days where everyone else is going easy.
.
Why?
.
Because that is how you push yourself to become better.
.
That is how you push OTHERS to become better.
.
So today I started off our Dynamic Effort aka high rep, explosive #ChestDay with some light weight.
.
And when I say “light weight” I simply mean reps of 20 on the Incline with the baby 100s.
.
After that we did a few other workouts but they are irrelevant for this post because today we did some more plyo-explosion workouts.

Im Video mal ein Beispiel für eine meiner Meinung nach super Übung für die obere Brust, welche ich seit kurzer Zeit in mein Programm integriert habe. Die meisten Übungen in meinem Trainingsplan sind recht Basic, aber ich dachte diese verdient mal ein Post :) Wenn man die obere Brust treffen möchte so greift man oftmals zu Schrägbankdrücken mit Kurzhantel, Langhantel oder an einer Maschine. Diese Übungen sind vollkommen zurecht so populär, allerdings fällt wegen meiner aktuellen Schulterproblematik Kurzhantel und Langhantel Schrägbankdrücken flach, weshalb ich eine Alternative gesucht habe. Die Antwort findet ihr im Video!

Eine Drückbewegung am Kabel, welche vom Setup am Schrägbankdrücken orientiert ist. Bank auf 60-70 Grad, Kabelzug auf eine der unteren Stufen einstellen, sodass der Ellenbogen von unten nach oben geführt werden kann! In der konzentrischen Phase der Bewegung rotiere ich mit dem Arm nach innen, da die Brustmuskulatur nicht nur für eine Adduktion (heranführen des Armes an den Körper), sondern unter anderem auch für eine Innenrotation des Armes zuständig ist. Bei der ablassenden Bewegung kehre ich das Ganze um und rotiere den Arm nach außen, um einen größeren Stretch auf die Muskulatur auszuüben. Also wer nach Abwechslung im Push Training sucht, kann diese Variante gerne mal ausprobieren ✅✅✅ Gains auf der oberen Brust kann glaube ich jeder gebrauchen :)

Fʟᴀᴛ Lʏɪɴɢ Dᴜᴍʙʙᴇʟʟ Fʟʏ| I use this exercise sparingly not to over work my chest to keep this areas soft with tissue & mainly for the development of 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙨 and 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 as the rhomboid muscles, between your spine and your shoulder, also get a workout from this exercise.

To achieve the lean/ shredded look yet maintain a curved womanly figure, I use lighter weights & or only practice this exercise once a week/ once fortnightly.

Those where this is not the aim & want a more toned/ stronger chest, exercise larger heavier weights/ extra reps & sets accordingly. 
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘿𝙤 𝘿𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙁𝙡𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠? 
A dumbbell fly is an exercise for your upper body. To allow your elbows to move behind your torso, you should do the exercise on a bench. A dumbbell fly will primarily work muscles in your chest and shoulders; however, it will have some strengthening effect on other muscles in your back and arms as well. If you would like to incorporate some abdominal work, do the exercise on a stability ball. 
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼: 
Lie with your head and shoulders supported by the bench and your feet flat on the floor. Hold the dumbbells directly above your chest, palms facing each other, then lower the weights in an arc out to the sides as far as is comfortable. Use your pectoral muscles to reverse the movement back to the start.

Once I began incorporating cable flies and rest pause sets, I experienced noticeable differences in not only my aesthetics, but even my bench press numbers.

🛠️💪👽O peitoral clavicular ou superior é um dos pontos fracos que eu estou buscando melhorar nesse bulking. A estratégia? Reduzir as cargas!!! Isso mesmo, sabe aquela história de dar um passo pra traz pra dar dois pra frente??? Então!!!

🎯 Especialmente pra estimular essa região estou priorizando a técnica, utilizando exercícios monoarticulares e que mantenham a tensão no músculo durante todo o movimento (crucifixo inclinado no crossover por exemplo), controlando ao máximo os movimentos, dando a eles total amplitude e abusando das diferentes técnicas e métodos de treinamento.

Com isso obviamente tive que reduzir as cargas utilizadas.🙄 Mas estou sentindo um pump absurdo nos treinos e um estímulo (dor tardia) nessa região como a muito tempo não sentia. 😎

👉Acredito que devemos sim,  buscar sempre evoluir as cargas, está comprovado que este é um fator fundamental em se tratando de hipertrofia. Busco isso aos poucos mantendo ao máximo a técnica correta.

👉 Em relação a periodização, treino o peitoral clavicular juntamente com o deltóide anterior em um dia e realizo exercícios que enfatizam a porção medial (esternal) e baixa em outro. 🤔E aí qual ponto fraco você está buscando melhorar❓❓❓ .

After a well needed 2 days off of rest and long mornings of sleep, I bounced back today great..able to press 315 for 8 reps easy and finish a complete chest workout.. energy and pump was best its been in a month!  I've learned that I was over training this last month when my body needed some time away to regroup. Time to readjust training frequency a bit.
