Hoje o 365o dia desse meu 30o ano de vida. 
Olhando pra trás, com a tranquilidade que apenas o tempo permite, devo comemorar porque foi um ano bom: decidi dar o passo mais importante da minha vida, que será casar (oficialmente) com o @marvin.sousa, ajustei alguns rumos da minha carreira, entendi que cabeça em paz vale mais que qualquer outra coisa, reconheci que o mundo nem sempre é justo, mas é o que está aí pra gente viver, conheci lugares que eu sempre sonhei, estive em sintonia com a parte que me importa da minha família, ajudei algumas pessoas com a minha profissão e apliquei as minhas queridas evidências, pois produção de ciência não serve só pra encher o PubMed.
Pra esse 31o ano, as perspectivas são muitas, afinal, como bom aquariano, eu acredito que o mundo vai ser melhor a cada dia. Vai ser um prazer dividir esse novo ano com vocês, meus queridos #zeguidores.

Feel sluggish these past couple of days, ground out this chest session, wasnt my best showing today. But looking at myself i thought im still on a path to the best version of myself, im a far cry away from what i was and still a long ways to go to what i want to be, guna have to step the training up a notch and maybe up the cals to get some decent muscle mass then cut again.

Just like with bench press, it is important that you retract/ depress your scapula in order to stabilize your shoulders. Doing so will put them in a safer position to handle loads since the active retraction sets them further back in your socket.
.
This is important especially at the bottom of the movement where your shoulders are the most vulnerable at.
.
Additionally, this will also allow you to create a better arch to further increase overall stability [NOTE: The severity of the arch will vary person to person based on t-spine mobility].
.
Furthermore, it's ideal to have the your elbows in line with your wrists and under the load in order to have a better force transfer, therefore you'll have a more effective/ efficient execution of the movement.
.
Having your elbows too far out in front increases the moment arm between DB and over time it can create elbow issues.
.
Extra tip: Keep your feet planted at all times to increase over stability.
