Trying to eat 1600kcal of processed foods will likely result in far less filling, less voluminous food and poor micro density. Feeling sluggish and very hungry is not a great way to go about losing weight and will almost certainly lead to overconsumption or going off track. 🍪 ⠀

Full Upper Training Day

I’m a big fan of an Upper/Lower training split as it allows a lot of frequency per muscle group. One problem can be fitting adequate sets for each body part into one session without spending hours in the gym. A great solution can be using Supersets, where you perform two exercises back to back with no rest. ••••••••
This is what I have done in the videos above, pairing exercise that work antagonist (opposite) muscles. Whole workout was completed in an hour and would work for Male or Female, it was in fact a slight adaption of an Upper day out of one of my Ladies programs.

I worked so hard to look my best for the #slimmeroftheyear weekend and after it was all over, felt a little routine relaxation was deserved!⁣

Anyone ever experience this? 
Y'all know I workout way too hard on Monday. Muscle work (strength and toning) in the morning then volleyball at night then just a few more exercises since I'm in the gym for volleyball. Then Tuesday morning I have my big cardio / power / hiit class.

I was doing some run of the mill push up burpees with lateral shuffles and as I was coming up from the down part of the push up my hamstring gave me that fatigue / we done / numb feeling. Then as I stood up I probably got dizzy but I guess it's a similar enough feeling to the muscle fatigue that it was almost like the fatigue feeling spread. I just kinda closed my eyes and focused for a couple seconds then I felt fine to continue my burpees (without the push ups lol) and the rest of my workout. I wrapped it up early on the strength session I usually do after.

I always rest Tuesday night / Wednesday morning. But Monday night / Tuesday morning are my hardest sessions. I don't eat Monday morning or Tuesday morning either. But usually if it's a glycogen issue a tired / nauseous feeling persists. I did push ups after and it was fine but push up burpees use more legs and my legs were done from Monday.

Not planning to slow down, that's the Monday/Tuesday God gave me and I recovered in seconds. I was just tired. Wondering if anyone experienced this.

1️⃣ Plan your exercise- ⁣
⁣
Minimum of 4-days for success. The same way you plan out most things in your life you need to plan your exercise. ⁣

Schedule workouts and make them like an appointment. You will spend more time thinking about going to the gym, and waste more time doing that. ⁣
⁣
2️⃣ Eat 2 cups of extra veggies per day.⁣
⁣
Sounds simple right? Because it is very simple. Everyday your focus is to add 2 cups of veggies to two meals. ⁣
⁣
Example: breakfast add in some broccoli ⁣
Dinner: add in zucchini ⁣
⁣
Done that it! Eating more veggies will keep your fuller which will reduce the chances of eating processed foods. ⁣
⁣
3️⃣ Get 1 workout outside with friends on the weekend. ⁣
⁣
When you plan a hike, stairs, beach workout, etc with friends you are more likely to stick to that workout. Also, you have other people counting on you to be there.⁣
⁣
You are less likely to have that dinner cocktail if you know you have to meet friends at 8am for a workout. ⁣
⁣
4️⃣ Eat a meal before you go out to a party 🎉 ⁣
⁣
Yes, you should eat before you go out. What happens typically if you don’t eat because the party will have food. Then you end up eating like it’s the last supper. ⁣

Have some protein/veggies before the party. You can still eat some of the food at the party but you will be less likely to over consume. ⁣
⁣
5️⃣ Enjoy your friends, family, and tradition⁣
⁣
If you can’t be present with your family and friends, because you are so focused on not gaining weight, you will not enjoy the holidays. ⁣
⁣

Yes it’s hard work  and there will be times when you want to quit but if you want it then you must KEEP GOING 💪🏻 A positive mental attitude and determination with always get you to where you want to be 👍🏻

For me I’ve not done any special diet but simply counted my calories, followed my exercise plan in the gym and given it time. Stay motivated and we can all get there 💁🏻‍♀️

I do love a visual and I’m simply posting this in a bid to motivate anyone who may be starting their weight loss process! Maybe thinking of making some healthy improvements in their life. Or maybe you feel that you’ve hit the wall a little. Honestly yes it’s hard work but it’s something that we’re all capable of 🤩
Yes it’s hard work and there will be times when you want to quit but if you want it then you must KEEP GOING 💪🏻 A positive mental attitude and determination with always get you to where you want to be 👍🏻

For me I’ve not done any special diet but simply counted my calories, followed my exercise plan in the gym and given it time. Stay motivated and we can all get there 💁🏻‍♀️
