*Although I typically use the superset format it can also be done as a circuit. **I used a slight bend in the arm on this particular day as I wanted to go a little heavier but I usually tend to use a locked arm. ▫️▫️▫️
Straight arm strength is a vastly underrated and undertrained aspect of most people’s fitness and strength development. Most likely this is due to an inherent fear of injury and the related lack of exercises taught and practiced in the general fitness field. The people who do embark upon it often overreach the demand on unprepared elbows and shoulders and are usually not mindful of shoulder position, core involvement and grip. However, full development of the shoulders, elbows, core and arms (particularly the biceps) can be enhanced with smart and gradual implementation of straight arm training. This can be done in a number of ways, many of which I have covered over the last year as I’ve tried to sprinkle it in as a side element to many of the other moves. It is an interesting realm of health I’m going to delve a bit more in the  so look for a bit more in this general realm in the near future. For now, start light and be mindful of load and body integrity and position (see the tutorial slide). ▫️▫️▫️

Aandachtspunten: Seated Bayesian Fly.

1. Zorg ervoor dat je de kabels iets hoger hangen dan schouderhoogte,

2. Pak de hendels vast en ga zitten op een bankje met je rug tegen de leuning.

3. Trek je schouderbladen naar achteren en duw je billen in de bank.

4. Zorg ervoor dat je constant spanning houdt in je romp en breng de kabels met gestrekte armen naar elkaar ter hoogte van je borstbeen.

5. Nu rustig zakken en blijft dit herhalen tot het gewenste aantal herhalingen.

Had a crazy chest pump after this chest workout; was probably from the salty/carb heavy food at Pinstack beforehand 😂. Batman Chest workout: 
1. 120lbs/5 (last rep was slowwwww)
2. 100lbs/10
3. Hammer chest machine 4. Same machine alternating 
5. Incline DB press 
6. Decline cable fly 
7. Decline barbell bench press
