Shredding or "cutting" means losing fat and bulking means building muscle. It can be efficient to focus on these goals in seperate cycles, as your diet and training style will change depending on which cycle you're in. The main difference between the cycles is your calorie intake. To bulk up, you need to take in more calories to support heavier weight training. The idea is to eat more but still minimise fat intake, as you're going to be shredding this fat later. To shred, you need to burn more than you consume. 30 min left in training and all I can think of besides #ufc195 is this awesome meal waiting on me at home. I'm bulking for the next 6 weeks so don't hate. Sautéed Cabbage w new potatoes and Bayou Peas  1 pkg of lightly browned Bacon and 1/4 lb salt pork. Topped off with lightly steamed all beef franks. Seasoned to perfection by my coach/ husband/ nutritionist/ cook. March will be here before you know it and I'm gonna make strength gains you haven't seen from me yet. [ CURRENT CONDITION ] 
While everybody is posting photos of how lean & great they look for summer, Im gonna post a photo of myself from today. 
Still on my 8-week bulking cycle, yet it is soon to be coming to an end. 
My feelings at the moment about it are:

Thicker than a snicker.
Curvy as a hippo. 
Heavier than ever.
Feel like a sausage inside clothes. 
Every step taken feels like I'm moving a truck. 
This is the 1st time I've ever done a proper bulk. 
Was always too scared of getting fat & thick, like I am now. 
I may not be truly happy with how I look when looking into the mirror, but I'm learning to love the result from it.

Which is?
Stronger.
More muscular.
More athletic.
Less shmiggle.
Less little girl.
More power.
Strong is sexy. 
So I'm trying to embrace it. 
Loving the journey.
But looking forward to see what's under this blanket.

Still on my 8-week bulking cycle, yet it is soon to be coming to an end.
My feelings at the moment about it are:

I added THESE mussels to my lunch to build MY muscles! 1 serving (100g) contains: 1g Carbohydrates, 2g Fats, 15g Protein. In addition to a healthy Low-fat salad, I added the mussels atop a bed of Olive oil & Garlic Couscous for a post-Workout lunch... nutrient-dense and DEE-licious! During this cycle I am changing my diet structure to High-Protein, Mod/High Carbs (LOW-Sugar), LowFat (45-40-15) to change things up and burn energy in a different way, as I still continue by 24-Hour fasts once a week and daily IF. As you've seen my whole journey of #leanbulking ,it has been a wonderful experience and it's something ive wanted for a long time .
👁️ So this is My current Bodyweight.Bf % a bit high say 13-14% so my abs are a bit shy to come out now I'd say 😁
KEY POINTS TO PUTTING ON SOLID WIEGHT
👉Calorie surplus ( Pretty much 80% of our physique is diet in my opinion .you spend 2 hours at the gym ,what you do rest of the 22 hours is THE MOST IMPORTANT .
👉High Carb intake .Mymain source of Carbs is Rice ,And I just love it .Make sure majority is pre and post workout ,so you can train harder and recover faster .( I could up the carbs more tho so I'm going to start eating better and bigger ) 👉High Protein intake .My primary source of protein is chicken boobies .Nothing beats that.Peanut butter ,Cheese and other sources here and there 👉Fats (This is where I'm a bit out of focus ) .I'm bringing on everything,Like literally .Mainly Sugars .Idk I've developed a swee tooth .It's all ice cream .When i eat I casually eat a family pack od ice cream a day .
DO NOT DO THAT.Stick to a good diet . Consistent diet. Frequent meals .
My goal as of today : Eat more clean ,Train harder and GET F*CK*NG BIG AND SWOLE.
👉Drink a gallon of water a day (I'm lagging here too )
👉8 F*CK*NG hours of sleep .The way I train I need more than that .but sleep is crucial guys .Recover better and grow faster and bigger .

Apart from a few years of my health and fitness going up and down like a yo-yo, trying to perfect walk the dog, being lazy like yajirobe, eating cold beans out the can and drinking bare beer etc I am now the fittest and happiest I have ever been in my life! A year ago I could just about be bothered to get out of bed to empty my tank but "look at me now ma I'm on top of the world ma!" Training 5/6 days a week, sometimes i throw a curve ball and get double sessions in but massive big up to the boys @shaymushancock @mattyfitt @hiit_it_with_dev @charlie_meado7 @samobuoys for the gameshark cheat codes, like infinite reps and infinite kisses.......yeah miss you. Bulking up is much more trickier than plain fat loss where all you have to do is maintain your lean muscle mass.

Naturally on bulking phases, exercises per workout are increased to create more total volume of work.

But still that just doesn't cut it. You see the majority aims to build all of their muscles at once in each bulking phase, which leads to not optimal results and definitely not optimal aesthetics.

I've split my 8 month lean bulk phase to 4 sub-phases each focusing on some muscle groups at a time.

You can't just focus on everything at once. You can't train 5 times a week and make consistent progress on everything.. we are only human 😅

Thus, I am only implementing 3 workouts per week, focusing on SOME muscle groups at a time for all three, optimal results, progress and aesthrtics.

While everybody is posting photos of how lean & great they look for summer, Im gonna post a photo of myself from today. 
Still on my 8-week bulking cycle, yet it is soon to be coming to an end. 
My feelings at the moment about it are:

Thicker than a snicker.
Curvy as a hippo. 
Heavier than ever.
Feel like a sausage inside clothes. 
Every step taken feels like I'm moving a truck. 
This is the 1st time I've ever done a proper bulk. 
Was always too scared of getting fat & thick, like I am now. 
I may not be truly happy with how I look when looking into the mirror, but I'm learning to love the result from it.

Which is?
Stronger.
More muscular.
More athletic.
Less shmiggle.
Less little girl.
More power.
Strong is sexy. 
So I'm trying to embrace it. 
Loving the journey.
But looking forward to see what's under this blanket.

Still on my 8-week bulking cycle, yet it is soon to be coming to an end.
My feelings at the moment about it are:

And really happy with todays sessions
