Thinking about finally starting a @youtube channel this lockdown๐Ÿ‘€

Iโ€™ve always wanted to start one, recorded many & just never posted them. I get worried about how they will do. Your first time doing anything new is never going to be great but you just got to put yourself out there!

PART 5:  WHAT TO FOCUS ONโ

This is the next question we need to consider when it comes to investing in your investment phase. What to focus on will be completely individual to the goal at hand but regardless of the goal, there will always be a common underlying theme which is a focus on performance above all else which will usually come in the form of training.โ

During the process phase when youโ€™re on your way to your first major transformation checkpoint, the focus is on calories, steps and activity as the goal is a lot more straight forward. Training complements your nutrition during this phase but during an investment phase, the priorities are completely switched meaning your nutrition complements your training. You eat and structure your life to optimally perform in the gym.โ

This a is big paradigm shift for many people and it actually requires more methodical preparation when it comes to structuring your day as some days will be more draining than others (for example a heavy leg day) which means you ideally want to schedule this session on a โ€œlower stressโ€ day so you have more resources allocated to recovery. This comes under the โ€œPreparation & Planningโ€ subheading but itโ€™s worth mentioning here as well.โ 
โ 
If we know that performance is the overarching factor we are assessing, we need to make sure everything that leads to high performance is in place. Therefore, optimising your sleep schedule, managing your stress and making sure your digestive system is running on all cylinders to absorb all the food you are consuming are all paramount to focus on. By focusing on these health aspects, you indirectly improve your performance. โ

Keeping a journal/diary where you subjectively record these parameters is highly recommended as you can always go back and see how your performance correlates to these markers. Do you perform better when you get 7,8 or 9 hours of restful sleep? What foods agree with you and which foods do not? What factors really stress you out on a day to day basis?โ

Also so langsam gehen ein wenig die Muskeln verloren und somit  verringert sich die Zahl auf der Waage... ein bisschen Selbstdisziplin bei Langeweile nicht stรคndig zu snacken gehรถrt fรผr mich schon lange mit dazu. .

Dadurch das ich mein Bestes gebe meine Form einigermaรŸen zu halten versuch ich es mit einer โ€žDiรคtโ€œ. Aktuell sind es 113kg, aber zu unter 110kg wird es auf keinen Fall kommen. Durch das Cardio auf dem Fahrrad ca. 4x die Woche fรผr 30min fรผhl ich mich tatsรคchlich fitter als sonst.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ .

what will happen is, you cut out a whole food group for a week or 2, then you will have immense cravings & end up binging.

Then, how DO you lose weight?? well, simply put, follow a 80/20 approach. eat 80% whole foods that nourish you & 20% "fun foods" to have balance. allow yourself to have a small treat to avoid restriction. you will have better results this way!

This just a shout out shot to all those sitting at home the past 2 months, (yes folks in like a week and a half) unfortunately our little bubble of North American saftey has burst, although while at home you can do many things to keep you intuned and ready for the possible coming world we're to be faced with. I think in extremes so if the extremes happen I'm prepped.
