Sebbene io sia un'amante delle colazioni, soprattutto golose, e ormai lo sapete, ogni tanto mi tocca mangiare anche altro, e dico tocca perchรจ fosse per me vivrei di porridge e pancake e colate di burro di frutta secca e cacao ๐Ÿ˜‚

Mi sembra doveroso dare un po' di spazio anche a questa tipologia di piatti ogni tanto, non credete?

HAPPY SATURDAY! Hip thrusters && dreaming of FROYO ๐Ÿ˜I get asked by a few of my clients which plan is best.. Bro Diet, IIFYM, Intuitive Eating, Keto,Organic, Fat Free, Skinny.
On social media we see these words being thrown around like crazy! Which one is best??
Find what works best for YOU! If counting macros and making any food fit in those macros works then do that! 
If having a strict plan written out so you easily know what to eat next works, do that!
If a high fat more savory diet plan with no carbs works?? You guessed it! Do that! 
Having someone tell you which one to do will not be a long lasting, effective way to follow a plan. My biggest advice is to try and experiment which one you will like most as well as taking into consideration the type of lifestyle you may be living. 
I personally love having a strict plan written out during my preps, I am eating Whole Foods & I donโ€™t have to think about what will be best to have next.
I also have experienced counting macros && a keto diet. 
Try each one before jumping to the conclusion that one may be better than the other.

Aparently โ€œmacrosโ€ isnโ€™t short for macaroni and cheese!!! Eating well is a form of self respect.  Weekly or bi-weekly food prep makes hitting macros a lot easier. If I donโ€™t prep I donโ€™t eat....or I end up making a bad decision and trying to over/under compensate later. When on prep, itโ€™s easiest to keep it simple and eliminate variables. It can make meals a little monotonous, but get creative with seasoning to change up the flavor! .

This is smoked salt. Why did I make it? My next video will be jerky (chicken and beef)! .
To make this, take 1/2 cup of your favorite salt and either mix it with 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke (then dry in a warm oven) or put it in a smoker. Simple and smells wonderful! .
I will be filming later today and, since this is the epitome of low carb, posting it everywhere soon.

Week 10 Prep Log

At the beginning of this week I was definitely more fluffy, holding lots of water. Last weekend I indulged in a ton of peanut butter and some processed foods that my body hadnโ€™t had in 73 days lol ๐Ÿ˜† I can see the difference but more importantly I could FEEL the difference and I simply donโ€™t like it. I prefer whole foods and it was a nice reminder that Iโ€™m not missing anything ๐Ÿ˜„

Staying on my macros, Iโ€™m continuing to lean down. This coming week my coach tweaked my macros to keep charging forward! ๐Ÿ”ฅโšก๏ธCardio is staying the same, no more no less. Happy about that because thatโ€™s my least favorite part! Lol - cardio, necessary evil.

Itโ€™s day 14!! 2 whole weeks ๐Ÿฅณ this is definitely the longest Iโ€™ve lasted without having to start over.
3 years ago this diet seemed impossible for me to follow. The weight Iโ€™m at now seemed impossible for me to get to, let alone maintain.
Come to think of it, every thing I have (and do) now seemed impossible back then.
What if I would have given up and accepted where I was as my reality?
This is all about more than just losing weight and I cannot stress that enough. Itโ€™s about becoming the type of person who has control over their mind enough to put their health first.
Itโ€™s about building indestructible self discipline because that is self care to me. I am no where near where I want to be, but the journey there just gets better and better.

Week 11 Prep Log
DIET
Iโ€™m an old school dieter all day long for a couple reasons BUT! you donโ€™t have to eat like that to obtain some crazy phenomenal results. My coaches are both new school and go by  IIFYM and their competition bodies are ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿคฏ insane! 
This is how and why I eat the way I do. My coach gives me macros for the week (how many grams of protein, carbs & fat to eat each day). I then plan my meals for the week choosing โ€œcleanโ€ whole foods. No sugar, no sugar alcohols (Sucralose, dextrose, basically anything that says sugar free on it contains sugar alcohol), no simple carbs, no dairy, nothing processed. THIS IS MY CHOICE. Many, many people will include these things in their daily meals because it will fit into their macro plan. Because the bottom line- to lower the number on the scale is being in a calorie deficit. And you can be in a calorie deficit eating pop tarts and sugar free jello all day. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I use the app My Fitness Pal to help me plan my meals. It keeps track of the macros when I plug in the food. 
Why do I choose this?! The main reason is personal that also gives me motivation. I have people in my life that I love dearly that struggle with addiction. And as much as I would like them to turn away from that life, I canโ€™t. It is their choice to use. But I can make the choice what I put in my body. This is my way to turn away temptation, temporary satisfaction for the people that I love. I realize it doesnโ€™t compare but itโ€™s the only way left for me to physically feel like Iโ€™m doing something to stand in solidarity with their struggles ๐Ÿ’”

Many, many people will include these things in their daily meals because it will fit into their macro plan. Because the bottom line- to lower the number on the scale is being in a calorie deficit. And you can be in a calorie deficit eating pop tarts and sugar free jello all day. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I use the app My Fitness Pal to help me plan my meals. It keeps track of the macros when I plug in the food.
Why do I choose this?! The main reason is personal that also gives me motivation. I have people in my life that I love dearly that struggle with addiction. And as much as I would like them to turn away from that life, I canโ€™t. It is their choice to use. But I can make the choice what I put in my body. This is my way to turn away temptation, temporary satisfaction for the people that I love. I realize it doesnโ€™t compare but itโ€™s the only way left for me to physically feel like Iโ€™m doing something to stand in solidarity with their struggles ๐Ÿ’”

I'm 3 days late but I've decided to participate in The World Carnivore Month Challenge. A 30 Day Diet during the month of January that consists of eating only high quality meat and eggs and drinking only water. Next month I plan on introducing green vegetables back into my diet in order to have more variety and a healthy balance. I will also be doing intermittent fasting and taking vitamins and fish oil along with the challenge. I've never participated in anything like this but have been gluten free for the last 6 or 7 years and have cut out coffee " which was pretty difficult". Egg fried rice (scramble an egg, cook some rice, cook peas & carrots then put it all in a pan together with liquid aminosโ€”swipe to see said liquid aminos)

4oz chicken breast & green beans also cooked in a pan with a little avocado oil. 
This meal is under $2 to make at home.
