Tips on Training Arms. 💪🏽
.
1)Grip - very important to train using different grips. It changes how you target the muscles. 
Supinated grip (Underhand)-usually the strongest.
Neutral Grip (Hammer). Pronated Grip (Overhand)-usually the weakest.
.
2)Implements - train using different tools. Barbells,Dumbells, pulley system, add chains/bands etc. More importantly use Thick grip implements (@fatgripz @watsongymequipment). Using a thicker grip makes the muscle contract a lot harder.
.
3)Strength curve - put the targeted muscle at different angles. You want to train muscles in a fully shortened position all the way through a fully lengthened position.
.
4)Reps/Tempo - everything doesn’t have to be fast pump high reps. “SLOW” down. The slower the Eccentric the more muscle damage you will get. You will also be surprised  how much of a pump you will get from training Heavy (2-6 rep range).
.
Give these tips a try. These are things that can be used through out phases (3-4 weeks)
If you are changing workouts every week. Your results will be varied. Be consistent with what you are doing for best results. Online programming available.

Tips on Training Arms. 💪🏽
.
1)Grip - very important to train using different grips. It changes how you target the muscles.

Little action from last night’s sporadic workout. Not the best feeling when you can’t do 85% of your leg workout due to back issues. Worked around it and got some arm action in with the wife and brother.

As PTs we see bicep curl variations done with terrible form time and time again. To much weight to much momentum to much ego. 
Try this Preacher curl variation for maximal tension through the full range of motion of a dumbell preacher curl using accommodated resistance. 
Resistance from the dumbell in the lengthened position of the curl normally as we get to the fully contracted position the weight of the dumbell drops off at the top portion of the movement, add a resistance band to the opposite pinky side of the dumbell which gives resistance at the fully contracted position and loads up the supination and offers peak contractile load to the long head of the bicep. 🤸‍♀️In gymnastics, we like to focus on the concentric “pull-up” part of the exercise but the downward eccentric motion is equally important. -
💥When we control the downward motion (the eccentric contraction) instead of letting you body weight just drop, we can improve our shoulder strength AND our active flexibility!

‼️For those coming back from an injury, climbing up using your legs and lowering down using your arms is a good way to modify pull-ups if you are feeling unable to do a regular pull-up or rope climb.

8 months ago i had an operation on my shoulder, reattaching the muscles, ligaments and tendons after tearing them 😩. for 12 weeks i couldn’t move my shoulder, i had no strength and i struggled to hold a cup! today i can complete an upper body workout and although it is hard, and i struggle and i still have little strength i am so proud of where i’m at! it’s the most amazing feeling to be able to say that i have done this! 😆 proud of me!!! Xx
