You see, The Trim Core Challenge (link in bio @yoga.burn) helped me slim my waist by 2 inches, and drop 7 pounds. BUT the big takeaway, and the most important aspect of both photos is that I loved my body before, and I loved it after. ⠀

To me, regardless of the scale, dress size, or what other people think, what matters is what YOU think, how you feel, the words you say to yourself when you look in the mirror.⠀

These photo's were more than 1 year apart, the day I bought my dress (June 18th, 2018) to the day I got married (August 24th, 2019) and I'm very happy with my figure in both photos <3⠀

My hope for you is that you'll find love for yourself wherever you're at. Whether it's just the beginning of your fitness journey, or if you've fallen off the wagon, or maybe you're currently killing it and seeing results! All versions of you deserve love, kindness and support...⠀

Fact: My time in the gym has been cut in half lately (life/work/priorities/schedule changes) and it has been a big adjustment but one I am welcoming. Sometimes, a quick ten minutes is literally all I will have between clients, meetings and calls and I cannot explain to you enough how much of a difference using these 10-15 mins has had not just in the physical, but the emotional. Never underestimate the power of a focused 10 minutes, in any capacity.👊

3️⃣ Bench Press 💪🏼

I always do 4 sets of 20 reps to really get the burn of each body area 🔥🔥 and I never really do this more than once a week!
I also add in other exercises such as;

Happy Sunday guys! Started my morning off early with an arm and ab workout. Other than the fact that I slipped on ice today sliced my knee open and hitting my head so hard, today I’m going to be meal prepping for the week. I decided I’m going to do this because I need to start getting the right amount of nutrients in my body to feel good inside and out. I realized I’m not getting nearly enough protein or greens in my diet to be growing as much as I want to:). EVEN THOUGH I am do this meal prep I’m still going to keep it 80/20. Because I don’t like to restrict the foods I like because it just makes life harder, just eat in moderation😋 Hoping this works out for me and lmk if you guys want to know more about what I’m going to make today🥰 ~reminder to make time for YOU today, and love you for you and make this week your week and conquer it like no other💪🏼

Eeek I did it!🥳🥳🥳 Today, I passed my level 3 practical training in order to become a personal trainer! It’s been a really tough year at university, and having to do my level 2/3 training on the side was challenging but I did it and look forward to what the future holds within this industry! 😆

I’ve sent away my theory workbook to be marker, and as soon as it comes back (passed hopefully) I’ll officially be a PT! 😌🎉🎊

1. Leg curl with alternating tricep push up, 10 - 12 reps (dumbbell optional).
2. Swiss ball pike, 10 - 12 reps.
3. Lying hamstring curl, 10 - 12 reps (dumbbell optional).
4. Alternating mountain climbers, 10 - 12 reps each side (try to get knee as close as possible to opposite elbow).
