• write down all the things you’ve been putting off to invest in your mind, body, and spirit
• visualize the whole picture of your success
• think small.
break everything into small pieces and steps (for example, work out everyday for 20 mins than 2 hours once a week🤷‍♀️)
• set the deadline to see your progress
There is no project until you set a deadline. The way you take control of your life is to make sure you've got a deadline for every goal you choose. • start today not “on Monday”

Jon’s 5 Non-Negotiable Daily Lifestyle Habits

I live by these 5 habits. I know these may seem a bit trite or played out, but I actually live by these! And we all know consistency one of the most important factors for staying in shape. By making these lifestyle habits second nature for the last 10-12 years I’ve been able to improve my health and fitness while watching others go in the other direction all around me. There is obviously a lot more to it than this, but these are bang-for-the-buck habits I’ve used to create a solid foundation for my health and fitness:
.
1️⃣ Drink at least a gallon of water per day (I typically get around 5-6 litres).
.
2️⃣Eat protein at every meal and snack.
.
3️⃣Eat high fibre foods as much as humanly possible (particularly vegetables).
.
4️⃣Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night and take your sleep hygiene seriously !
.
5️⃣Exercise 3 days per week at minimum, with any exercise above and beyond that as a bonus.

It's never our circumstances, problems or situation... ALL that matters is how we CHOOSE to react. I've been trying to turn my REACTIONS into thoughtful RESPONSES instead. I'll have to be honest... it's kind of changed my life! I didn't realize how much my instincts and sub couscious way of thinking truly impact my everyday decisions! Truly getting a grip on my thoughts, self talk and mental attitude have helped shift my life over this past year! @msrachelhollis has been such a HUGE inspiration to me on how to actually accomplish this and helped so much in seeing how much being more positive can TRULY change your life! ❤ I encourage you all to stop and think for 5 seconds the next time you go to react. Ask yourself " Am I reacting or am I responding? Is this truly how I feel or is it just coming from habit?" Our thoughts create our habits and our habits create our life.

Les voy a platicar algo que he notado con el tiempo... 🖤
-La mayoría de las personas que somos muy positivas es porque hemos pasado por situaciones complicadas, situaciones en las que ser negativo no era una opción, porque de haber sido así no hubiéramos salido adelante.
-Las personas que se preocupan porque los demás sean felices es porque saben lo que es sentirse así, en lo más profundo de la tristeza y soledad, y no quieren que otra persona sienta lo mismo.
-Una persona que demuestra felicidad todo el tiempo no es porque todo el tiempo la sienta, todos vivimos altos y bajos pero aquí andamos, con dias de color y otros a blanco y negro.

Do you love to read? I love books but they put me to sleep. I love smell of books and the feel of the pages, but just thinking about them makes me sleepy.

My tech workaround is to listen to books instead. For the last few weeks, I’ve been listening to “Digital Minimalism” by Cal Newport. One of the main themes of the book is that we should be purposeful about our use of technology — especially new technology, like apps.

So, you might be wondering why a self-described appaholic like me would be interested in digital minimalism. I do have some thoughts and one or two objections — but, I’d prefer to share them when I’ve finished the book.

💭people may find it ridiculous, but sometimes the most precious time for me is time, being spent alone❣️
🙃sometimes friends feel offended asking me why I went for walking or to cafe without inviting them..well, it’s not about I don’t want to spend time with them, the answer is at least once in a week I really need spending time only with myself 🙈
🙏🏼that’s perfect time for thinking, making decisions and conclusions, evaluation and self-reflection❣️

Another year, another challenge... Habits can make or break us. They can be good or bad. Gaining the habit of creating consistently last year was totally transformative, bringing many positive changes in sooo many aspects of my life. This year I want to lose a few bad habits. I've hit the smoking (only 3.5 cigs since 1st Jan and none for 2 weeks 🙏) last year I worked on my phone addiction and will continue to do so this year, now it's my biggest addiction, BUYING STUFF. Man I freaking love stuff. I love jewellery and books and clothes....I've only bought clothes  in charity shops for about 2 years now, but I still buy waaay too much. I'm bored of drowning in stuff. For 3 years now I've wanted to do this, I'm currently 1 week in and feeling that this is the year. This isn't to say I won't buy a coffee and cake on a mate date, buy my usual toiletries, upgrade some things to reusable where I'm currently using single use...but I know I've got to get out of the habit of buying things out of impulse and I've created parameters that reflect where I'm most likely to splash cash unnecessarily. I've balanced the rules with some intentions to do more of the stuff I love, that don't require spending to keep it a pleasant experience. I do have everything I need, but could definitely do with more savings and that could be one huge bonus of this. Anyone else feeling me on this one? 
I'll let ya know how it goes, maybe with a purchase drawing every time I fall off the wagon, or maybe just when I REAAAAAALLLY want to 😅

아침에 이거저거 하다 명상을 했는데, 순서를 바꿨다.
명상을 먼저하고 커피, 운동, 독서...등 일상을 시작했다.
아무것도 아닌 것 같지만, 하루의 시작에 차분한 에너지가 물흐르듯 퍼져나가는 기분이다.

오늘은 순서는 14일차 수련, 아침에 수련을 하고
잠들기 전 13일차 수련을 다시 해본다.
요가 영상 마지막에 요가소년님이 항상 하시는 말씀이 있다.
“이번 영상이 마음에 드셨다면, 다음날 다시 해보시기를”
어제 13일차 수련을 하면서 저녁에 꼭 해보고 싶다는 생각이 들었었다. 
같은 동작인데도 나의 몸 상태에 따라 혹은 어디에 집중하느냐에 따라 다르게 느껴진다. 잘 되더라도 혹은 잘 되지 않더라도 “모든 동작에 정성을 다 하되, 무리하지 말고 각자의 수련을..”

They say there's no fountain of youth. But a comprehensive new Harvard University study is the latest report to break down exactly how much extra time you can get yourself on this planet if you follow a small number of positive life habits.
None of these habits will be a surprise, but the stunning part is how the Harvard researchers claim to be able to quantify exactly how much more time you'll likely live: specifically an extra 12.1 years for men, or an extra 14 years for the women.

1. Don't smoke. 
2. Maintain a low body mass index.

3. Work out for 30 minutes per day.

4. Drink alcohol moderately.

5. Maintain a healthy diet.

It's worth noting that the study used age 50 as a benchmark, meaning that they looked at how long people could expect to live beyond that age, depending on whether they did or did not adhere to healthy habits.

기분전환을 하러 미용실을 갔다가, 애매하게 기분이 상했다. 대놓고 나쁜건 아닌데...기분도 애매, 머리도 애매...안되겠다싶어, 다시 기분전환을 하러 몹시 빠르게 좋아하는 카페로 피신을 했다.

일부러 평소에 잘 먹지 않는 달달한 커피를 주문했다. 항상 미소와 낭낭한 목소리로 반겨주는 사람들, 커피의 달달함이 퍼지고 책에 빠지고..점점 기분이 좋아진다.
새로운 책도 구경하다, 지난 번에 읽던 책을 이어서 읽는다.

The BEST Fat Loss Strategy.

For the people looking for the secret from this video or caption, there won’t be one.

But there will be some good information to think about, so read and listen on.

Think about it, what is the one thing that you reading are fortunate to do everyday?

Eat.

This is why I say making nutritional changes is by far the best way to lose fat, and keep it off.

Because regardless of what else goes on that day, you have to eat.

There will be days you can’t make it to the gym to burn your 500 calories *more on that later on*. There will be days you can’t do your crazy cardio routine.

But, fortunately, every day you will eat.

So if everyday you have to eat regardless, don’t think you can use that to your advantage in the sense of fat loss.

You can use that avenue to keep yourself in a calorie deficit, meaning you will lose fat.

While staying in a calorie deficit through making nutritional changes, you can sustain this fat loss at a much higher rate.

Because you will be building habits to continue with you for the rest of your life.

As opposed to relying on burning calories to lose weight.. More on this to come in my latest YouTube video, that discusses cardio vs weights for fat loss.

The family that Star Wars together, stays together! 
Last night of a great break with all my boys home. 
I'll never get tired of it. 
I'll always want them here. 
Special thanks to @carywatts3 for the holiday theme sweaters for all. 
It wasn't fancy, it wasn't full of big moments or festive events. It was simply a lot of  family time...playing games, watching movies and football, eating favorite meals, just being together. 
I don't take a minute of it for granted any more. 
I soak it up. I save the smile in my heart for a time when I need it most. 
It is AMAZING how a shift to gratitude has changed my life. 
I can REMEMBER sitting in my bedroom by myself the night after @bradywatts7 left a couple of years ago and being so depressed. I just immersed myself in sadness at his departure and the end of the holidays. 
Now don't get me wrong...it still hurts my heart whenever I have to let him go, but now I sit with it for a  minute, allow the sadness to be there and then start thinking the thoughts that help me stop the hurt. 
Which are thoughts of gratitude. How grateful I am that he came home for such a long visit.  How lucky we are that he has such a great job that allows him to do it. How happy I am that my boys still like to be together. 
Daily habit number four is GIVE and it's all about gratitude and thankfulness. 
It's PROVEN to help you live HAPPIER longer. ❤👍💪

Which are thoughts of gratitude. How grateful I am that he came home for such a long visit. How lucky we are that he has such a great job that allows him to do it. How happy I am that my boys still like to be together.

I got behind on this because, well, I got busy towards the end of the year, lol.
But- this is crazy to me!!!
🤩🤩
The pic on the left was my wake up call. 
After a weekend marriage retreat (all the snacks and coffee!!), I came home and weighed myself- 
220 pounds. 
Idk why but that number just shook me. I'm only 5 ft tall. 
I was already having issues doing normal tasks without being winded and snoring a lot (because I couldn't breathe and everything was swollen!). But then I started thinking about how unhealthy I was and what would happen to my husband and kids if I died from something I could've easily controlled...?!!!
I fought to get the first 10- 15 pounds off b/c I hadn't really changed anything, save having some salads. 🙄
But 2019 was my year for consistency. 🌠
I made small decisions EVERY day for the future. There was easy days and there were hard days, so many hard days but I stayed consistent. I made this IG for accountability. I started working out at home, slowly. 
And then heard about @burnbootcampkennesawga and went to their pop up camps in March. 
I was still so out of shape but I decided whatever I had done that Saturday at the pop up camp, I would just repeat throughout the week so that I was moving my body. 
When they opened in April, it was like a fire was lit inside me! There were days I missed but I kept coming back.
The friendships I've made with so many amazing women there have blessed me so much!

2020 is my year to GROW and I can't wait!!! 🤩🥰💪

I don't know but I do know that I will take it! And keep it.

While enjoying family time and soaking up all the sun I have been honking a lot about 2020.... I am not one that necessarily sets a New Year’s Resolution.... I have decided that 2020 I am going to work on some SELF HABITS.... here are just a few of them.... 1. Wake up earlier 
2. Changing my thought from “I have to” to “I get to” 
3. Track goals
4. Saying NO and be ok with it. 
5. Embrace the small things 
6. Choose the right friends 
7. Eat mindfully 
8. Practice gratitude daily 
9. Stay Inspired 
10. Hold myself accountable
